10 of Spades is a New California Republic sniper of the First Recon's Alpha Team and its newest member.

Background[]
10 of Spades was born on a farm west of the Mojave wasteland. To past the time Spades trained with his rifle on his farm. He was recruited into the military one year before the start of the game. He was placed into first recon by Lt Gorobets but most of the members didn't want him as there partners because of how new he was. Corporal Betsy took spades under her wing and became his mentor. During one of there mission Spades and Betsy were ambushed by the fiends leader Cook-Cook and was almost beaten to death but was fortunately only left unconscious. While he was unconscious Betsy was sexually assaulted by Cook-Cook and spades has felt responsible ever since. He got his name by Gorobets because he wanted to be called Ace of Spades but was called 10 of Spades because he he needed more experience. When asked about Betsy spades recommend doctor Usanagi because she help helped him with his stuttering. Spades is also a way to convince Betsy to seek help.
