AA2153 is one of the main protagonists (alongside U-1196) of the manga and anime spin-off series Cells at Work! Code BLACK. He is a red blood cell that works in a body that is a poor condition, resulting him in receiving an overworking job.
He is voiced by Junya Enoki in Japanese and by Kyle McCarley in English.
Appearance[]
AA2153 has the appearance of a young adult man of average heigth with brown hair with a lock lifting on the right. He wears the standard red blood cell of his body, a cap with a black visor, red jacket, black shirt underneath, blue jeans, and red shoes. His cell code is located at the back of his hat, due to that it is not often visible when he is on screen.
Personality[]
AA2153 believed that his job as a rookie red cell would be exciting, just as described in the video that introduced that he, alongside the rookie red blood cell watched. However, he soon discovers that the video was largely a lie, as he starts on his first day.
He remained steadfast in his commitment to aiding the organism, even in the face of dismal working conditions and the organism's persistent lack of improvement. A camaraderie is formed with a neutrophil/white blood cell named U-1196, who coincidentally rescued him many times while also gave him advices and inspirations. AA2153, another red blood cell that happens to be already friend with him before the series started, where they are often seen by each's sides.
