Achillean Nestoris, also known as the Tidesinger, is a major overarching protagonist in the animated web series, Songs of War.
He is a legendary Ardoni warrior who turned the tides of the Great War, hence his nickname. He united all of Ardonia to stop Ingressus and his armies from getting the last Prime Song. The war ended when he and the Deathsinger were both supposedly defeated. Unbeknownst to the world, they both survived.
He is voiced by Joe Goffeney, who also voices Hawken.
Appearance[]
He is an Ardoni from the Nestoris Clan, identified by his glowing yellow eyes and patterns. He wields a diamond double-edged battle-staff, which able to extend longer when in use. The enchantment glint on his weapon is yellow, much like the color of his clan.

The Great War was won thanks to Achillean's incredible leadership. He was able to unite Ardoni, Enderknights, Felinas, humans, and Magnorites all against the Nether and Voltaris. He is an excellent warrior; able to make masterful use of Songs and his battle-staff; from zipping around his opponents to firing an precise laser.
He truly cares about his people and his greatly saddened when looking upon Ingressus's rampage on Nestoria. It is implied that after witnessing the aftermath of the Deathsinger's destruction, he rose up the ranks and vastly improved his skills. He believes that nobody should wield the combined powers of the Prime Songs, meaning he is humble and has a sense of responsibility.

During the Prime Song tournament, Achillean is seen watching the combatants duel and later, Ingressus revealing himself as Voltaris to everyone. After Ingressus's rampage, killing dozens of innocents and burning down homes, Achillean stood horrified at the aftermath. It was at this time that the Great War had started, with the Nether and Voltaris's alliance wreaking havoc on the all of Ardonia. When things were looking bleak, Achillean stepped in the ranks, uniting all of Ardonia and turning the tides of the war, giving him his legendary nickname. He also fought with Thalleous Sendaris on various occasions. Thanks to Achillean's great efforts, the Nether army retreated to their realm, removing a massive chunk of the Voltaris's power.
Using this opportunity, Achillean pushed the Voltaris to Mount Velgrin, where he personally challenged Ingressus to a fight. During a their legendary duel, Achillean discovered Ingressus's plan of time traveling into the future, where Ardonia would be much weaker, thus allowing him to exact his revenge with ease. To make sure there is no disturbance to his plan, Ingressus blasted Achillean down the mountain before entering the time portal. However, Achillean survived and followed into the portal.
Due to their disappearance the fight, it was thought that they both perished.

- In the post credits scene, it was revealed that Achillean survived being thrown off a mountain by the Deathsinger.
- Achillean most likely was inspired by Achilles, a warrior from Greek Mythology that was famous for his speed and durability.
