Adam, also known as Member X, The Warrior, Main Character or any other names preferred to him by the player, is the main protagonist of the Honkai Impact 3rd's Open World Adventure Mode, "A Post-Honkai Odyssey" and its sequel "A Post-Honkai Odyssey 2.0". He is one of the playable characters alongside Raiden Mei, Bronya Zaychik, Carole Peppers, Timido Cute and Lyle Collodi.
He was voiced by Sun Ye in Chinese and Makoto Ishī in Japanese.
Overview[]
Adam is a Schicksal warrior under Mei's behest which was assigned to write mission reports on their investigation on the St. Fountain, an African city located near the coast of Cape of Good Hope. Their first mission was to find Welt Yang's whereabouts in which he was missing after a trip to St. Fountain.
Prior to becoming a Schicksal warrior, he was enrolled in St. Freya, being the first male enrollee in the campus. Soonafter, Adam became a Schicksal member, assigned to Raiden Mei's 3rd squad.
After assigned to investigate the bizarre incidents occurring in St. Fountain in hopes of searching for Welt Yang, the former 1st Herrscher and Anti-Entropy leader who retired in order to pursue an animation studio. Reaching the sky castle, the squad met Void Archives, who formally introduced himself, where he summons Code XXI - World to dispose of them. During the fight, Code XXI managed to stab Mei with its rod, mortally injuring her in the process. This causes Adam to break his promise to Mei and remove the seal on his greatsword the Labor of Olympus to save his friends, releasing immense amount of Honkai energy and defeating the World for good. As a consequence, Adam became heavily infected after absorbing most of the released Honkai energy. In the aftermath, Carole brought both Adam and Raiden Mei who slipped into unconsciousness.
Appearance[]
Adam is a young male that wears a white shirt along with a gray overcoat, black belt, leather boots and pants. He carries a powerful greatsword known as the Labor of Olympus, which is capable of absorbing and weaponising Honkai energy.
Trivia[]
- He is canonically referred to as Adam in the game's files and in promotional materials.
- He is the first (and currently only) playable male character in Honkai Impact 3rd, with the second being the Male choice of the Dreamseeker (prior to the removal of the male option).
- Due to the (initial) negative reception towards Adam within the CN audience in "A Post-Honkai Odyssey", any further attempts to make playable male characters were halted until the release of Genshin Impact. Despite this, there are currently no playable male characters available in Honkai Impact 3rd.
