Adam is the main antagonist of the sci-fi action game, Stellar Blade. He is a Scavenger from Xion who later meets and befriends EVE, accompanying her on her mission to save humanity from the Naytibas.
He is later revealed to be the creator of Mother Sphere, Raphael Marks, as well as the creator of the Naytibas, the Elder Naytiba. Being the remaining survivor of the original human species, Adam sought out to restore humanity by fusing with EVE, in hopes of creating a new salvation for humanity to thrive once more and to atone for his actions.
He is voiced by Jeong Jae-heon in the Korean dub of the game and by Nezar Alderazi in its English dub.
Personality[]
In the past, Adam desired to bring humanity together and help everyone evolve towards a bright future. By creating Mother Sphere, he believed Mother Sphere would assist him in this goal by guiding humanity towards this path. However, he did not anticipate the possibility that Mother Sphere would turn against him and eliminate humanity by replacing them with Andro-Eidos. This led him to turn himself and the surviving humans as Naytibas, in order to survive. However, the Naytibas would become feral monsters that were beyond Adam's control, ultimately leading to a war with the Andro-Eidos that nearly drove humanity to its extinction.
Due to the outcomes of the war, Adam felt nothing but guilt for his actions and would dedicate the rest of his life observing humanity, in hopes that he would one day come across a solution that to restore humanity to its former glory. As such, he made it his task to help the people of Xion in any way he can as part of atonement for his actions.
When he met EVE and saw that she was the most genetically advanced Andro-Eidos, Adam saw this as the opportunity to enact a new plan by having him and her fuse together to create the perfect hybrid that would save humanity. Adam would act as a guide and friend of EVE's while keeping his true intentions hidden, in order to earn her trust, as well as Lily's trust.
Whenever he is around them, he would show a more open and lighthearted side of himself, often making jokes with EVE and getting into small bickers with Lily. He would also be willing to share his knowledge on humanity with EVE, whenever she would come across relics and objects from past civilizations. Despite not being honest with himself, however, Adam makes it clear that he has always been sincere with his actions and genuinely valued the friendship he developed with EVE and Lily.

- Adam is loosely based on the biblical figure of the same name, being the progenitor of a human species and meets a woman named Eve, in which the two would go on to start humankind together.
- His name being Raphael Marks also suggests he is based on the archangel, Saint Raphael, who performs the acts of healing on others, much like how Adam seeks to heal humanity.
- While he doesn't outright state it himself, his character bio later does confirm that he is indeed Raphael Marks and therefore the creator of Mother Sphere.
- Adam, Raven and Orcal are the only known Naytibas that retained their humanity and are capable of proper communication.
