Adam Heffner, or Heffner is a medical examiner who examines the bodies of all the dead trap victims when they are brought into the morgue. He was one of the supporting protagonists of Saw IV, VI, and Final Chapter.
Biography[]
The Autopsy Of John Kramer[]
During his medical checks, Adam and his assitance located a playable video tape inside the body of John Kramer, the Jigsaw Killer. He give the tape to Detective Mark Hoffman, as he then later proceed with his assitances on the other bodies of the many other victims.
A Review On Seth Baxter Case[]
Heffner is the one who discovers that a different type of knife was used to cut the jigsaw puzzle piece out of Eddie's skin, who was a victim of one of the most recent Jigsaw murders, with all of the other bodies that was recovered to him. He is then revealed to be the person who is responsible to check every single body of the Jigsaw cases, all the way from the fisrt to the last.
The Massacre Of Mark Hoffman[]
While the bodies of four new deceased Jigsaw victims, Evan, Jake, Dan and Kara (known collectively as the racist Skinheads), Hoffman manages to sneak into one of the body bags to get into the morgue to find and kill Jill Tuck. Adam is killed when he opens the body bag that should've been containing Dan's corpse, and Hoffman leaps out of it and stabs Heffner in the throat.
Post-Mortem[]
The corpses of Heffner, Jill Tuck, and several police officers murdered by Hoffman were found shortly afterward. The events surrounding the massacre at the police station were reported to the public by the news channels later that night. Thereby, everyone with information about the whereabouts of Mark Hoffman was requested to go to the police immediately.
