It took me 20 years to find you, plus or minus. How many people can say that "I found you"?
~ Agent M

Molly Wright, better known as Agent M, is one of the two main protagonists, alongside Agent H, of the 2019 film Men in Black: International.

Biography[]

Past[]

At Brooklyn 1996, Molly as a child witnessed her parents getting neuralyzed after the sighting of a small alien in her home. She was able to help the alien escape and somehow avoid getting neurayzed by the agents. This event sparked her interest at finding the people responsible for it, leading to her infiltrating odd locations and performing extensive investigation. She also trained at an academy, getting enough experience and skills to be hired by the FBI

Men In Black: International[]

Molly is seen as an adult being interviewed for the FBI job which she blew by expressing her will to work for the secret organization that may be present. Her CIA application was rejected for similar reasons, leaving her back to her job at the call center. During said work, she managed to discover an alien pod with one of her equipment and upon arriving at the location, finds agents performing a cover-up.

Due to her suit, she was able to infiltrate the entrance of the Men in Black headquarters though the door guard did figure it out pretty quickly before calling in security. She was soon captured and interrogated in which Agent O, a high ranking agent, decides to assist in the interrogation. Information regarding Molly's past is brought up though one of her sentences intrigued the higher agent who proceeded to face her herself.

A long-winded back and forth conversation ensued, mostly involving Molly bragging about how good she'd be as an agent. Somehow this worked and soon she was at the equipment room to be briefed. This is where she got her suit, equipment, and the data removal procedures of the usual Men in Black agent. Her designation is Agent M and she was given a probationary agent status at the London branch.

This is where she met Agent H, a highly decorated agent who along with his former partner, High-T stopped an invasion of a dangerous alien species known as The Hive at Paris. Agent M arranges herself to accompany Agent H at a diplomatic meeting with an alien from the royal family known as "Vungus, the Ugly", a friend of Agent H.

During the meeting, the agents were attacked by a pair of alien twins who managed to fatally wound Vungus during a fight. Somehow Agent M found him first and with his dying breath, he hands over a strange crystal to her while claiming that Agent H had changed and cannot be trusted. After the cover-up by the Men in Black, Agent M pointed out that very few people had knowledge of Vungus' location, meaning that there is a possibility of a traitor in the ranks of the Men in Black.

Out of suspicion, High T decides to assign Agent M and C to conduct an investigation while Agent H is put off duty for the time being. Somehow he managed to get out of that job, convincing Agent M to follow a lead at Marrakesh. During the investigation, the two of them discover a small group of aliens that were attacked by The Twins, leaving only one survivor named Pawny.

Agent M was able to convince him to not commit suicide and instead pledge loyalty to her. However they were soon stormed by Agent C and his men who somehow deduced that Agent M is the traitor due to her receiving the crystal from Vungus. The convicted agents quickly escape the town via rocket bike, ending up in the desert soon after. Over there they discover that Vungus' crystal was actually a weapon powered with great power though it was soon stolen.

The agents were able to track down the weapon to a weapons dealer named Riza Starvos who had set up base at an island. They were soon caught though and were forced to fight her and her bodyguard, Luca Brasi. After an extended fight with Agent M taking on Riza, she eventually discovered that Luca was actually the alien she had saved as a child. With some convincing, she managed to get Luca to turn on his boss, allowing the agents to retrieve the weapon they were looking for.

At some point they were cornered by The Twins though they were quickly dispatched by High T and a group of agents. Despite the case being concluded, Agent H and M were still suspicious of something and after some investigation, realize that The Twins were actually trying to dispatch The Hive. It also revealed incriminating evidence on High T who had gone to Paris.

The two agents rush to stop whatever he planned on doing and on the way, discover that Agent H had been neuralyzed when The Hive managed to assimilate High T into their ranks. At the top of the tower they discover a wormhole opened leading to The Hive who was slowly getting closer to escaping. Luckily with some convincing from Agent H, he was able to bring out some parts of High T's personality long enough for Agent M to blow The Hive back to where it came from and escape

At the end of it all, Agent O arrived at Paris to congratulate the two agents for their role in exposing the mole and stopping an alien threat. Agent M was rewarded with full agent status and presumably continued her work in partnership with Agent H
