Look. I saw the portal, I know you're from another dimension. I've got way too much experience with that, especially lately.
~ Agent Spider to Invincible

Agent Spider is a minor character in the Amazon animated series Invincible. He is a spider-themed superhero from an alternate universe that Invincible meets during his fight against Angstrom Levy.

He was voiced by Josh Keaton, who also portrayed Spider-Man in The Spectacular Spider-Man, HYDRA Stomper on What If...?, Nightwing in the Arkhamverse, Darel in Kulipari and Shiro in Voltron: Legendary Defender.

Biography[]

Agent Spider resides in a separate dimension to that of the mainstream universe of the series.

Trivia[]

  • Agent Spider is a not so subtle parody of the Marvel superhero, Spider-Man. In the original comics, Mark actually does meet Spider-Man after going through one of Angstrom Levy's portals which leads him to the Marvel universe, but due to the rights of Spider-Man being a complicated matter (being split between Sony and Walt Disney), Agent Spider was created to serve as a stand-in for Spider-Man.
    • Agent Spider's voice actor, Josh Keaton is also famously known for portraying Spider-Man on The Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon series, as well as voicing another Spider-Man pastiche, Black Spider in Young Justice,
    • During his exchange with Mark, Agent Spider mentions "he had experience with the multiverse, especially lately", which may be a reference to how Spider-Man has dealt with multiversal matters several times in the comics as well as the recent release and popualrity of the Spider-Verse film series.
