Agloval is a character from Andrzej Sapkoeski's The Witcher stories. He is the duke of the coastal village of Bremervoord, and makes his debut in the short story A Little Sacrifice.
He is known for his romantic interest in a mermaid called Sh'eenaz. Agloval hires Geralt of Rivia to convince Sh'eenaz to become human and marry him, but she initially refuses. However, when they were almost at war with the sea dwellers, Sh'eenaz had finally decided to give up her tail, and they married.
In The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, Agloval is a young and romantic prince who is in love with the mermaid princess Sh'eenaz. He faces a conflict with his father, King Usveldt, over the relationship with Sh'eenaz and her people, opposing the latter's greed. His relationship with Sh'eenaz leads to him making a significant decision that changes his life and the relationship between the humans and merpeople. Agloval ultimately chooses to live with Sh'eenaz and her people, becoming a merman, defying his father's desires for him to be a land-dwelling heir.
