Episode 3[]

Aisha finally completes her journey to the throne of Kazuya, the acting king of the country. She explains that warriors who hail from her tribe have no one to bow to outside of whoever is their master. Aisha is asked to step forward for her gift.

However, she asks a request instead from Kazuya. She and her people are highly concerned with thinning trees and lack of growth from young trees. She asks for his wisdom to solve this issue. Kazuya tries asking if her kind was thinning the forest properly by cutting down trees to maintain the woodland as the foliage obstructs the sunlight, hampering the growth of younger trees.

Overgrown trees also interfere with the growth of others, making it a potential target for snow and wind. It also leads to the undergrowth withering with no sunlight to provide it. It also results in the soil losing water and leading to landsides. Aisha then pledges a lifelong loyalty to Kazuya, even becoming a concubine for him.

She then asks him to come to the forest to help with the problems with the forest.
