Akane Kurokawa is a major supporting character in Oshi no Ko franchise. She is an actress affiliated with the Lala Lai Theatrical Company.
After she tries to commit suicide and ends up with Aqua saving her, she become his girlfriend for the plot of the show and after some point they began to have a real relationship.
In Anime, she is voiced by Manaka Iwami in Japanese and Kristen McGuire in English, in Live Action, she is portrayed by Mizuki Kayashima and in Stage Play, she is portrayed by Mirai Uchida.
Appearance[]
Akane is an 163 cm tall young girl with blue-green eyes and midnight blue hair. She is considered to be very beautiful by several other characters, such as Ruby Hoshino and her rival Kana Arima.
At the beginning, her hair was short but later she appears with long hair.
Personality[]
In the beginning of the LoveforReal, Akane was presented as a shy and reserved girl, which caused her to have a lot of trouble and many questioned whether she was a real actress.
When Mem-cho and Yuki suggested to create a character of her own to play on the show and Aqua revealed his ideal girl as Ai Hoshino, she is very successfully pretended to be Ai.
Trivia[]
- Akane's story in the LoveforReal arc is inspired from the death of Hana Kimura.
- Originally, Akane's character was created to appear only in the LoveNow Arc. However, the author ended up giving her a much more important role. Akane not only became Aqua's partner, but also came to steal the spotlight in several chapters of the story by being the person who finally discovered the identity of the twins' father.
