Akari Seto (瀬戸茜理, Seto Akari^?) is the tritagonist of the Otherside Picnic franchise.

She is a university student within the same school as Sorawo Kamikoshi, as well as Natsumi Ichikawa's childhood friend. Akari later becomes involved in matters regarding Otherside, after she was attacked by a group of mysterious Otherside Entities known as the Ninja Cats.

After stopping the Ninja Cats and later Sannukikano within her childhood friend's residence, Akari and later Natsumi joins with Sorawo, Toriko and Kozakura in their ventures to the otherside.

She is voiced by Miyu Tomita in Japanese and by Amanda Lee in English.

Appearance[]

Akari is a young woman who has brown hair with bangs that sweep to the left, as well as brown eyes. She frequently wears a blue men's coat over a mini-length T-shirt dress as her casual outfit.

Personality[]

Akari has a cheerful, outgoing, and vivacious attitude. She is also carefree and sophisticated and doesn't bother about what other people think of her. She is, nevertheless, sometimes shown to be annoying especially towards Sorawo, owing to her cheeriness and vibrancy.

Background[]

Akari, a first-year university student at the same school as Sorawo Kamikoshi, is a skilled martial artist who competed and triumphed in prefectural competitions in high school. She lives alone in a Saitama apartment after her parents relocated owing to their jobs. In File 7: Attack of the Ninja Cats, she made her debut. She came to Sorawo for assistance after being repeatedly assaulted by a group of Otherside Entities known as Ninja Cats. Later on, it was also learned that Satsuki Uruma had also served as her tutor.

After her childhood friend Natsumi was struck with a bad luck curse by an Otherside Entity known as Sannukikano, Akari joined forces with Sorawo and Toriko to put a stop on the entity's terror. When Sorawo used her blue eye to drive Akari into a state of berserk, Akari then proceeded to pummel the entity to a bloody pulp until it was killed off for good, thereby ending the curse that was placed within the Ichikawa family. From that point onwards, Akari later becomes involved in Otherside.
