Akari Wanibuchi (鰐渕アカリ in Japanese) is one of the characters in the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies at Gehenna Academy and wields a Assault Rifle. She is a member of the Gourmet Research Society, a well-known terrorist group whose incentives are only to explore the world of gastronomy. Akari is especially known for her ability to devour absurd amounts of food like a breeze.
She played as both a supporting antagonist and a supporting protagonist throughout the second chapter of the third volume of the main story, the "Treaty of Eden", following the orders of the Gourmet Research Society's president, Haruna Kurodate. The same reason goes during the second to fourth chapter of the final volume, "Where All Miracles Begin, where she played as a supporting protagonist. She also played as one of the antagonists during the "Chairman Hina and her Summer Vacation" event, and as a supporting character during the "Get Set, Go! Kivotos Halo Games" and "A Little Before the Food Piled Up" side events.
Personality[]
Despite appearing as a calm girl compared to her other chaotic club friends, Akari often causes great trouble for others, although sometimes not in the way most people would expect. Like the other Gourmet Research Society members, Akari loves eating. Her ability to eat extreme amounts of food is quite exceptional, to the point where some people would call her stomach a blackhole. Her stomach's capacity has caused the bankruptcy of some all-you-can-eat restaurants, but Akari often brushes it off as if it's the restaurants' fault. In addition to her ravenous appetite, she enjoys a side of destruction, just like most Gehenna students. However, she doesn't actually look for trouble and has been seen helping others.

New Years has arrived, and Akari seems pretty excited, though it is unclear if she's looking forward to the event itself or its delicacies instead. This is the outfit Akari wore during the "A Little Before the Food Piled Up" side event, where she and the Gourmet Research Society attempt to prevent a gem of a restaurant from closing down due to fierce competition from fast food joints.
Akari boards the School Lunch Promotion Vehicle, granting it a percentage of Akari's MAX HP for 30 sec. While boarding, the School Lunch Promotion Vehicle will not attack. (Only one School Lunch Promotion Vehicle can appear at a time).
