Akira is the main protagonist of the action science-fiction manga and anime series Rebuild World. Guided by a holographic artificial intelligence named Alpha, he is an orphan boy who tries to survive in a city with hunters.
Appearance[]
Akira is short young slime boy with black hair and distinct yellow locks presumably dyed into yellow colors. He wears a dark, military-style uniform with a padded jacket with pouches and utility straps. His pants have knee pads and layered fabric for added protection. His footwears are high boots with crisscrossing straps around the lower legs. His wears a pair of gloves and sleeves. He wears an emblem patch on his left arm
Personality[]
Akira is a cautious young man with a strong determination for survival, not easily giving his trust on anyone, even initially to Alpha when she first appeared before him when he was targeted by a group of men and his startling reaction to Alpha charmly greeting him when he woke up from his sleep when he pointed his gun at her, still inconvinced she is not a threat. Despite being extremely cautious, Akira can also appear reckless and naive, ignoring Alpha's words when he was being guided to kill one of the hunters who targeted him, which resulted in an injury in his leg when he believed he could catch the hunter from behind by shooting him. Akira shows his fascination and shock over ancient relics that Alpha provides him. Furthermore, Akira tends to not think before acting and think of the outcomes caused by his actions, as exemplified when he attempted to pull out his gun to confront the owner of a restaurant when he is told that his money is insuffiscient to buy a meal. Despite Alpha's frequent attempt to flirt and seduce Akira, the teen mostly appears indifferent of her charm and moves on, excluding when he got flustered of the hologram without clothes.
