Akru is the son Alexander and Luri and a brother to Sura and Adoptive brother (He was mistaken, he was female and adoptive sister for French, Spanish and German dub reasons) to Mowgli . He exclusively appeared in the anime series Jungle Book Shonen Mowgli.
Personality[]
Akru is seen to be brash, and does not always look before he leaps. Despite his rebellious and rash nature, Akru is fiercely loyal to his brothers, Mowgli and Sura, and his mother and leader, Luri. He is shown to be able to be very sweet and kind, but while convincing that it wasn't Mowgli's fault that Sura got hurt, he does appear to be a bit rough with his words.

Biography[]
When he and Sura were pups his mother Luri took in the Cub Mowgli after she saw him feeding like her own cubs. Then his father Alexander heard the fierce tiger, Shere Khan coming, and Alexander stood his ground to protect his family. Later, He spoke to Luri about adopting the man-cub, Which she reluctantly agrees to. Years later, He and Sura are full grown adult wolves.
In the episode "More Precious than the Law", Akru gets competitive with Sura which caused him to get himself hurt and break a jungle-law while hunting a buffalo, causing all the wolves to accept his family to shun him and maybe even leave him for dead. Mowgli in particular strongly opposed to letting die as a punishment, ad sets out to acquire a flower with healing properties, even if it means getting himself kicked out of the pack. Fortunately, though Mowgli never does get banished, and was allowed to fix Akru, who gets forgiven for his behavior.
