Albert Mackintosh, formerly known as CI Albert Mackintosh and PC Albert Mackintosh prior to his promotion, is the deuteragonist of the Wallace and Gromit franchise.
Mackintosh is the local police officer to keep peace in the same town that both Wallace and Gromit live in he also help supervise the giant vegetable competition despite not liking the event.
He is voiced by Peter Kay.

PC Albert Mackintosh is a middle age man with a big round nose completely bold head and a big mustache. Being a police officer he wears blue clothing with sliver bottom on it a leather belt around his wrist a tie and a hat with sliver star badge on it.

- In the first feature film, Mackintosh wasn’t officially thought to be a villain, but later he was falsely framing Wallace and Gromit for the garden theft due to inventing the Smart Gnomes.
- During one of the alternate endings of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, he's married to Lady Tottington.
- In Vengeance Most Fowl, Albert looks way more elderly than The Curse of the Were-Rabbit when he was middle aged.
- He is also (currently) the only Wigan Resident to grow elder than any West Wallaby Citizen.
