Alchemist Prime was one of the ancient Transformers, member of the Thirteen Primes, and he with the power to transmute metals and an exceptional understanding of chemistry and natural forces.
History[]
Alchemist was created to battle Unicron and establish Cybertronian civilization of their world. Of the other Primes, Alchemist had primary abilities revolving around alchemy, allowing him to transmute metals and understand the fundamental properties of objects.

Alchemist Prime is a scientist of the original Thirteen Primes, responsible for the alchemy of Cybertronian creation and the invention of new fuel forms, including fermented energon.
Cyberverse[]
In the Transformers: Cyberverse cartoon, Alchemist's role is that of the kindly, eccentric bartender Maccadam, who runs the Oil House on Cybertron and serves as a mentor and guide to the Autobots, most notably Optimus Prime, who he guides as the "spirit guide" within the Matrix of Leadership.
He was voiced by Dick Terhune.
Transformers One[]
This film depicted him as one of the Primes who fought the Quintessons, but was killed during a ambush. His transformation cog was later given to Elita-1 to grant her the ability to transform.
