Alex is the main protagonist of the Oxenfree series, serving as the main protagonist of the first game, and the overarching protagonist of the second game.

Alex was invited to Edwards Island by Ren to have a small party alongside Nona and Clarissa, although Alex's new step-brother Jonas joined as well. After arriving on the island, Alex accidentally opened up a gate to a void using a radio, releasing The Sunken to the world. She and her friends would spend the night trying to escape the Sunken, only for it to be revealed that they were secretly in a time loop, with the game ending with the night starting all over again.

Alex is a snarky teenager who teases others when given the opportunity, though in serious situations she will reveal she is actually a kind person who will do anything to protect her friends.
Appearance[]
Alex has dyed blue hair, though her natural hair colour is brown. It is implied that she dyed it shortly after her brother's death. She will almost always be wearing the orange jacket that once belonged to her brother, and is very rarely seen without it, even in flashbacks.
