Alex Elder is the main hero of the Crimson comic book series. He used to be a normal New York teen, until he was plagued by an undead curse. A victim of a horrific vampire attack, Alex has become one of the living dead himself. As it turns out he is The Chosen One that will play an important role in preventing a apocalypse and he is fated to bring an end to vampirekind.
Bio[]
Alex was a young teenager who was attacked by Rose and her vampire gang the Jelly Bats. Nearly dying, he was rescued by a Grigori an ancient being who managed to scare away the vampire gang. He was considered by Ekimus as the Chosen One who would help the latter rid humanity of the vampires that he and Lilith had loosen into the world when they mated and grant him salvation or possible forgiveness.

Upon becoming a vampire and after consuming the blood of Ekimus the Grigori, Alex developed the ability to levitate and fly. Likewise, he was able to stand the light of heaven without being disintegrated
