Alex Vreeke is the overarching protagonist in the 2017 Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and its 2019 sequel Jumanji: The Next Level.
He was portrayed by Mason Guccione as a teen, Colin Hanks as an adult, and Nick Jonas as his avatar.
History[]
He first receives Jumanji from his father who found it at the coast, not knowing it waws previously disposed of by Alan Parrish and Sarah Whittle in 1969 and he gets sucked into it upon choosing his character.
He is later seen again when Spencer Gilpin, Anthony Johnson, Bethany Walker, and Martha Kaply discover him operating the fifth avatar, pilot Jefferson "Seaplane" McDonough. He takes them to his treehouse after saving them from Russell Van Pelt's men. He agrees to help them take him down and find the Jaguar's Eye jewel and return it to Jumanji. In the end, he is now an adult and managed to return in 1996, which allowed him to be married and have two kids with a son named Andy and a daughter named Bethany (named after teenager Bethany).
