Alfred Pennyworth is a supporting character in the Injustice comic prequel.
History[]
After Superman gets into a heated argument with Batman over whether or not it's okay to kill the villains following Joker tricking him into killing his wife and unborn son and killing him as revenge, Superman passes by Alfred as he leaves who asks him if he's staying for tea, Superman declines saying he doesn't need to call him master which Alfred accepts.
Sometime later Superman reveals Batman's identity to the world which leads to the batcave being uncovered, Alfred then gives Batman a list of things he needs as he heads out.
At the end of year one of Superman's Regime Superman confronts Batman in the cave after the former killed Green Arrow during the Insurgency's raid to raid to steal the Regimes Super pill (which gives regular humans superhuman strength) Batman then calls out Superman on his delusional beliefs on saving the world and proceeds to try and show him he's going off the deep end which Superman furiously ignores.
Superman then proceeds to break Batman's back across his knee to stop him from interfering from his plans, then latter then angry calls out Superman for restoring to torture "for the greater good" which causes Superman to feel remorse.
Alfred then calls Superman by his full name, then proceeds to give him a vicious headbutt breaking his nose. He then beats the Tar out of him yelling at him to not his family anymore. After wiping Superman's blood off his hands he takes Batman to the Titan tower to recover from his broken back.
He gives Black Canary a kryptonite bullet to shoot Superman with with almost succeeds in defeating him but the yellow lanterns save him from being arrested.
During on of his birthday his consoles a depressed Batman over losing many allies over their battle to defeat Superman's Regime.
During Year Five Superman visits him demanding to know where Batman is hiding but Alfred ignores him and taunts him over his previous defeat of him. Despite Alfred claiming his doesn't know where he's hiding Superman hires a serial killer to murder him but Alfred manges to put up a good fight until the former fatally wounds him with a slash to the stomach where a horrified Damien Wayne finds him soon after.
After Alfred's funeral Batman takes a Super pill and severely beats Superman for killing his surrogate father and asks Damien if he should kill him to end the 5 year war. He doesn't go through it.
After the events of the video game Damien digs Alfred's corpse up from his grave and uses Ra's lazurus pit to revive Alfred but Alfred comes back in a zombie like state due to being dead for so long. However he slowly recovered back into his former self but his mind still didn't fully recover so he left Wayne Manor to look for answers.
Skills[]
Hand-to hand Combat -He was able to put up a good physical fight with a serial killer.
Super Strength- After ingesting the Super pill he beat Superman to a pulp.
Trivia[]
Although he doesn't appear in the games Harley mentions to Superman's beating at the hands of Alfred.
