Allen is the main protagonist (character and hero) of the game. He is the last child to be taken into the Teacher's care and lives together with the other children at the facility.
Appearance[]
Allen, a young child with blond hair and blue eyes, is a young boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt with a blue-ribbon tie beneath the collar, dark blue shorts with suspenders, blue and white striped stockings, and blue shoes. Stella thinks he has a lovely face.
He wears the coat of the Cheshire Cat in the Cheshire Cat finale. His eyes change to gold, slitted eyes, and he takes on the monstrous mouth of the Cheshire Cat, complete with a broad smile and sharp fangs.
With his long black hooded cloak also slung over his shoulders, he looks more like a teacher when he's 17 or older. In the novel, he has long hair that stretches beyond his shoulders and is tied in a ponytail, but in the Recipient of Love conclusion, his hair looks short. A long-sleeved turtleneck sweater, suspenders, and a Teacher's necklace are worn by both renditions. However, the shirt in the Recipient of Love version has longer cuffs, but the shirt in the novel version is the same as his younger counterpart's. After striking a contract, his left eye turns to gold and is slit in the novel's artwork.
Personality[]
Allen is a quiet boy with amnesia (memory loss). Stella noted that he has a pretty face, but he is also a boy and is brave enough to touch a spider's legs. He is also very poetic, as seen in his notebook. He likes to read books and newspapers, as said by Miwashiba.
Role[]
Allen first arrived and talked to the Teacher, and that was before he was instructed to speak to the other children and get to know each other. He was told by Joshua that he heard a voice from the second floor, and Allen went there to check it out, though the Teacher instructed him not to go to the second floor. He found a living butterfly there, but when got in trouble with the Teacher, he told Allen that the butterfly was dead. When Allen came back to his room, there was a cat, and it went into his closet. Curious, he followed it, only to meet a Cheshire Cat, a White Rabbit, and doors to each of the children and the teacher's world. The game ends depending on a player's choice after completing the children's world.
