In Monster Hunter Wilds (MHWilds), Alma is an NPC. One of the primary NPCs you meet at the start of the game is Alma, who serves as the player's handler and assigns you tasks to complete. Biography[]
The Avis Unit's handler is Alma. the Unit that the player belongs to. Alma and the rest of the Avis Unit join the expedition at the first area, Windward Plains, and then move on to the Oilwell Basin, Iceshard Cliffs, Ruins of Wyveria, Suja Peaks of Accord, and Scarlet Forest.
You meet a Hirabami in the Main Mission Hopes of Home. You are able to communicate with your unit members while you take shelter and make camp to rest. You can talk to Alma here and find out that she was inspired by you and gave Fabius your name for the mission. She goes on to tell you that she had shut herself off from the outside world until she met Nata, who has been inspired to start living by the world, even if he lost everything he knew while figuring out how to get home. Alma goes on to say that you were picked because of your history and that the first time the game started, she was astounded to see you in action. She felt alive because of your character, therefore she lived vicariously through it. Nata has started feeling ill after this talk, so you attempt to leave the camp and get back to Azuz. Alma authorizes you to kill the Hirabami because, regrettably, it is still out there. You can approach her as your handler to start different missions, but if you come across a potentially dangerous creature out of the blue, she will immediately grant you permission to kill or capture it.
