Alternate Calliope is the doomed version of Calliope and a major overarching protagonist in Andrew Hussie's webcomic Homestuck. This version of Calliope predominated over Caliborn, and entered the dead session, only to be killed by her planet's Denizen, Echidna.
Personality[]
Alternate Calliope is a lot more stoic and calm than her Alpha variant, being the main reason for the success of Earth C's creation. She speaks in Caliborn's blood color, and does not use her typing quirk, much like her brother's future self, Lord English
Appearance[]
Alternate Calliope looks the same, except for her black eyes. Her God Tier outfit is similar to other Space players, but with a hood and cape. Her strife specibus is wandkind.
Act 6 Act 5 Act 1[]
Please note: The following section is talking about Alpha Calliope, and NOT Doomed Calliope, as she does not make a proper appearance until A6A6I5.
She makes her first appearance in Act 6 Act 5 Act 1 where she appears in Roxy Lalonde's dream and tells Roxy to save her before her brother kills her. It turned out to be a trick by Alternate Calliope in order to meet Roxy in person. When she met Roxy she was cosplaying as the troll she made up named Callie Ohpeee. Alternate Calliope tells Roxy why The Condesce hates Caliborn. When she finishes, Rose Lalonde enters Jane's dream. Out of intense anger and panic, Alternate Calliope wakes up both Roxy and Rose from their dream.
Act 6 Act 6 Act 3[]
In Act 6 Act 6 Act 3 Alternate Calliope begins to get lonely in The dream void as Roxy never visits her. When Alternate Calliope starts going into doubt Jade Harley come. Alternate Calliope did not know it was Jade at the time so Alternate Calliope hid from her. She put her cosplay as Callie Ohpeee on and later found out it was Jade. When Jade asked to see her real face Alternate Calliope told Jade that it is not pleasing towards the human mind. However Jade still wanted to see how she looked like and told Alternate Calliope that they might as well haven some fun in the boring void.
Act 6 Act 6 Intermission 5, [S] Collide + Act 7[]
Alt!Calliope plays a major part in the overall success of the Beta Kids' Sburb session and the creation of Earth C, as she uses her Space abilities to guide the Universe Frog towards Skaia, creating the new universe. She also turns the Green Sun into a black hole, which diminishes Lord English of his powers in the Furthest Ring.
