She was voiced by Ursula Taherian, who also voiced Jordan from Descendants: Wicked World.
Biography[]
Past[]
Before the events of the game, Tawna was affiliated with her dimension's Crash and Coco. sometime later at that some-point, she apparently lost her friends at the hands of her dimension's Doctor N. Tropy who killed them.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time[]
Tawna first appears where she goes to to rescue Crash and Coco when they are kidnapped by the pirates. The bandicoot siblings quickly started recognizing her, and come to realize that she isn't from their universe. They have a brief interaction with the siblings explaining their current quest. Tawna encourages them but quickly takes her leave, insisting that she works alone, yet still promising to help them out on the side.
Later, She encountered Dingodile and explains the inter-dimensional rifts to him, and the two agree to team up. The two of them reunite with Crash, Coco and Cortex and Nitros Oxide's ship, and they all set off together to defeat the N. Tropy duo.
Soon after, Tawna ties up Crash and Coco to prevent them from taking Nitros Oxide's Hovercraft to the Tropys' lab and jumps in herself, insisting that it would too dangerous for them (despite that it would be bad for her to leave them and nearly be killed by the duo), and that she should do it alone. She then sets off for the Tropy's lab and tries to fight them.
However, she gets overpowered by both the two of them and is nearly killed by Female N. Tropy before the rest of the gang arrives just in time. The N. Tropy Duo decided to kill Crash and Coco but instead, teleports Tawna, Cortex and Dingodile away to fight the bandicoot siblings.
Tawna later reappears after the Tropys are defeated and celebrates with Coco. She then goes with the rest of the gang to the Sn@xx dimension to celebrate their victory, and gets some fried food while they're there. However when Cortex kidnaps Kupuna-Wa, she gives Crash a boost to chase after him and ends up left behind with Dingodile. At the end of the game, she celebrates by playing video games with Coco and Crash.
Appearance[]
In the alternate timeline, Tawna is a tall, mutant female bandicoot with orange fur, a cream muzzle and blue eyes. She has short blond hair partially dyed blue, and styled into a large faux hawk. She wears a pink top with a blue and yellow line decal on the chest, a blue bandanna around her neck, a brown short-sleeved leather jacket with spikes on the shoulders, fingerless leather gloves with metal braces, blue patched pants with a large brown leather belt, dark brown steel-toed boots with pink leg warmers and three golden earrings in her right ear.
Personality[]
Tawna is a highly independent, no-nonsense woman who stands up for herself and what's right. After apparently losing her dimension's Crash and Coco, her only friends, she insists on flying solo to stop anyone close to her from getting hurt ever again. Resourceful and confident, Tawna uses her hookshot first and asks questions later. She also seems to be a bit of an otaku, saying various Japanese words at certain times.
Trivia[]
- The universe Tawna came from is referred to as the 'Tawnaverse' by the developers of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time.
