Alvin, Simon and Theodore are anthropomorphic chipmunks in The Alvin Show and Alvin and the Chipmunks. They have been featured in cartoons, movies and crossovers alongside their adoptive father and manager Dave Seville.

Summary

The three perform as a musical troop plying their talents as a sort of high pitched a cappella troop. Their style is considered a success in-universe which has earned them fame, moderate wealth and celebrity status. Their cartoons and movies usually feature at least one song each and generally rely the chipmunks dealing with the pressures of fame or leaning personal life lessons. All three tend to create more than a large fuss for Dave as their manger/surrogate father.

Alvin

Alvin is the leader/ringleader and also the oldest (middle in the 2015 CGI series) chipmunk in a red shirt with a yellow capital A on it. He is charming, hilarious and mischievous, but brash and rebellious. However he is never callous to his fans or brothers. He tends to be more of the manager of the trio than Dave is.

Simon

Simon is the middle (oldest in the 2015 CGI series) chipmunk in the blue shirt and glasses. Simon is highly intelligent with an IQ just north of Einstein. Despite Simon being the most mature of the trio, he has a brotherly rivalry with Alvin and they would bicker due to their differences.

Theodore

Theodore, the youngest chipmunk in the green shirt tends to be shy and prudish compared to his brothers. Theodore is pacifistic, sweet and down to earth. He can be glutton and has a passion for the culinary arts.

Live-Action (2007)

Alvin, Simon and Theodore are the titular main protagonists of the Alvin and the Chipmunks film series. The three perform as a musical troop plying their talents as a sort of high pitched a Capella troop.
