Alyson Malitski is one the main characters of the Braceface TV series.
Alyson is introduced as a sweet, bubbly, feminine, and laid-back teenager.
While Alyson is mostly seen at Nina's side for the first two seasons of the series, she's rarely viewed as the type to be just as cruel or mean like the latter. This is mainly because she's only seen in having to participate on doing whatever her so-called "friend" asks, to ensure that her rival's life is as miserable as possible.
Because she never got to speak up for herself, due to Nina being the cause, she remains as the reclusive sidekick that gets bossed around.
However, as soon as when she finally became fed up with Nina and her rude ways, as well as the fact that the latter didn't seem to care for her at all, seeing that being around Sharon and her group of friends made her realize that she can always be herself and not act like someone's doormat to be stepped on,. She finally stood up for herself against Nina and broke off the friendship, seeing that she's found real friends who care for her and then she became Connor Mackenzie's girlfriend and her loge for him made her a much better person.
