Amethysto, formerly known as Darkmatter, is the overarching protagonist of the Roblox game Heroes of Robloxia. In the end of Mission 4, and the start of Mission 5 and onwards, He is freed from the darkness that took him over and is now a member of the team, becoming a prominent protagonist.
Appearance[]
Amethysto is a robloxian with purple hair, and wears a pearl white costume with a purple collar and a large purple Roblox emblem on his chest. He gets a new outfit after his redemption, first seen in Egg Hunt 2018: The Great Yolktales' - Return of the Rabbit quest, which resembles an all-violet suit with black pants, and a glowing white Roblox emblem still on the chest.
Personality[]
As opposed to Darkmatter, Amethysto is selfless and quite good-hearted like the other heroes. After being freed from Darkmatter's corruption, he acts very confident and courageous to help his friends as he joins the team.

Amethysto was still the newest recruit of the Heroes of Robloxia at the time. However, something happened to Amethysto that caused him to become corrupted by darkness and became "Darkmatter"

Missions 1-4[]

Post Mission 4[]
After being freed from the darkness, Amethysto was accepted back into the team, though still felt ashamed after everything he did as Darkmatter. Amethysto was then brought back to the HQ, while standing near the cell where Cicada, Atomic Waste, and Dynamo were being held.
While standing near the cell, he is shown to be holding a purple flame in his hand, hinting that there's still a part of Darkmatter inside of him that hasn't left.
Mission 5: Cosminus Chaos[]
Amethysto returns in Mission 5, as he and the rest of the heroes were tasked to take on a new threat to the planet, as an enemy by the name of Cosminus has taken over a research facility and plots to use one of their devices to destroy Robloxia by pulling the moon out of orbit so that it would crash the whole city.
Amethysto uses his Crystal Shields and Shards to take out the enemies and turrets that were being controlled by Cosminus, and helps his friends enter the building to shut down the laser. Once the laser was shut down, all five heroes take on Cosminus and defeat him once and for all. However, once defeated, Cosminus manages to escape and vows revenge against the heroes. The Heroes, including Amethysto, are now thanked for their heroic deeds and are off to their next mission.

Egg Hunt: The Great YolkTales - Return of the Rabbit[]
Amethysto returns to save his hero friends from the likes of the Rabid Rabbit, who has returned for revenge against Robloxia after his defeat back in Egg Hunt 2014: Save the Eggverse!. Amethysto uses Plasma Bolts to reroute the power from the Rabid Rabbit's turrets and has them zap his giant egg machine back to his dimension.
Upon defeating the Rabid Rabbit, Amethysto obtains the "Super Egg", which is considered as a trophy for his victory.
Heroes of Robloxia 2[]
Powers and Abilities[]
- Genius-level intelligence: Looking at his advanced plasma technology, it can be said that Amethysto is an expert in technology and has genius-level intelligence.
- Hand-to-hand combat: Although on a basic level, Amethysto is good at hand-to-hand combat.
- Plasma bolt projection: Amethysto uses plasma bolts that shoot from his wristbands to shoot projectile Plasma Bolts at enemies or machines.
- Plasma manipulation: In Mission 5, Amethysto has the ability to create a plasma shield protect himself from enemy attacks or deflect enemy projectiles to break through things such as a meteor blocking a path.

- Egg Hunt 2018 is the only game that Amethysto has appeared in, outside of Heroes of Robloxia.
- The canonicity of the Egg Hunt 2018 Heroes mission is debatable, as the events of the mission weren't referenced or mentioned within Heroes of Robloxia, outside from an in-joke within the main map outside the HQ as shown on a movie theater that depicts the title of the mission as one of the films playing there.
- Another thing is that "The Player" is taking the form of Amethysto in the mission, as the face of Amethysto doesn't match that of the actual character.
- Amethysto's name is a pun and reference to an 'Amethyst' which is a Purple gem
- Amethysto was the only one who wasn't seen within the Spider-Man: Homecoming mission in Heroes of Robloxia, or in any of the prisoner cells in Dr. Stein's Lab in Hallow's Eve 2017: A Tale of Lost Souls.
