Prince Amleth the Bear-Wolf is the titular protagonist of the 2022 historical thriller film The Northman. He is loosely based on the Scandinavian legend of the same name.
He is a Viking warrior prince who went into exile after the death of his father, Aurvandill, at the hands of the latter's brother, Fjölnir. Years later, Amleth travels to Iceland to hunt down his treacherous uncle and avenge his father.
He was portrayed by Alexander Skarsgård, who also played Eric Northman in True Blood, Stone Hopper in Battleship, Tarzan in The Legend of Tarzan, and Nathan Lind in Godzilla vs. Kong.

- Master Combatant: Thanks to his training as a berserker, Amleth becomes a formidable warrior who proved to be more than a match to Fjölnir and seasoned fighters in general.
- Weapon Mastery: Amleth displayed great proficiency with weapons such as sword, axe, and knives.
- High Intelligence: Amleth is deceptively clever, able to formulate elaborate plans throughout his quest for vengeance. A testament of his great intelligence is how he was able to perfectly pose as a grumpy thrall that almost everyone failed to notice his true colors, formulating a strategy in defeating the late owner of Draugr Sword should he rise as draugr, and masterminded misfortunes that befell Fjölnir up until his mother exposed him.
