Amy Rose is one of the overarching protagonists in Sonic Prime. She is a pink anthropomorphic hedgehog who is close friends with Sonic the Hedgehog.

She is voiced by Shannon Chan-Kent in the English version, who also played Ada Wong, Princess Isla Kokoro, Smolder, Ocellus, Friend Bear, Marie Roberts, Fabiola Iglesias and Isla the Mermaids. In the Japanese version, she is voiced by Taeko Kawata.

Appearance[]

Amy is an anthropomorphic female Hedgehog, with light green eyes and a peach-colored muzzle, triangular inner ears and arms. She has a small black nose and no spine; she also has two medium length eyelashes on both eyes. Also, her five short head feathers point downwards, somewhat resembling a bob cut. She also has three spikes for bangs on her head and a short, pointed tail.

She wears clothing similar to the original only on her back, shoulders and upper legs.

Personality[]

She has a kind personality and caring towards her friends, but in combat, she is quite strong and firm.

Powers and abilities[]

Amy's primary weapon is her hammer which she uses to smash robots.

History[]

When Eggman launched a recent attack on the island, Amy starts to fight against his Badniks. Soon into the fight, Tails finds that the Eggcrusher does not have Eggman inside and tried but to no avail to stop Sonic. Amy watches as Sonic smashes the empty robot off the cliff and into the ground. As Tails flies off, Amy laments how upset Tails had been due to Sonic not listening.

After it was discovered that a device in the wrecked machine resulted in the blast that resulted in the blast that came from the robot, Amy and the team gather at the loop-de-loop where they look at the damage inflicted by the blast on the side of the mountain before Sonic rushes off to collect rings. While Eggman was trying to dislodge the paradox prism from within a cave, Amy and the team arrived before Sonic much to how displeased by how late he had been. After calling out Sonic for being late, she hears Eggman declare his intent to use the prism to make the world more him. Eggman sends his robots to attack with Amy fighting back and later asking Sonic asking where he was.

When Eggman decides to pull out the prism himself, Amy alongside the other teammates scream for Sonic not to hit the prism, but it was too late and everyone but Sonic and Shadow vanish as a result of him shattering the prism. Later on, Sonic encounters alternate versions of Amy such as Rusty, Thorn, and Black across the newly formed Shatterverse.

Later, an evil version of Tails named Nine uses her "ghost" from the fractured Green Hill and converted it into a obedient robot version of her named Alpha Grim Amy.
