Ayumi Yoshida
Ayumi Yoshida is a 6-7-year-old girl and one of the main characters in the manga and anime Detective Conan. Her name in English is Amy Yeager. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Yoshida and is their only child.
She is voiced by Yukiko Iwai in Japanese and in English, she is voiced by two actresses, in FunIMATION, she is voiced by Monica Rial and in Bang Zoom which produces English translations of the Case Closed movies, she is voiced by Janice Kawaye.
History[]
Ayumi was born to her parents as their only child. She attends Teitan Elementary School and is in the first grade there. There, she met and befriended Conan Edogawa when he started school. From there they formed the group: The Detective Boys, Ayumi was the only girl of the group until Ai Haibara came. She is the best friend of Ai Haibara whom in turn is very protective of her. She is close friends with Mitsuhiko and Genta, but is completely oblivious to their feelings towards her and is only interested in Conan. She is often a target to criminals who often take her hostage, try to hurt or even kill her. But she is always saved. She currently lives with her parents.

Ayumi is a small child with short brown hair which she wears in a hairband. She often wears a lot of dresses everyday.
Personality[]
Ayumi is a little girl who enjoys adventures. She is sweet and kind. She is in love with Conan Edogawa and often dreams of being with him when she grows up. Ayumi doesn't like criminals and is often very scared of them when they go after her.
