When Qui-Gon confesses he and his comrades are on a mission the capital of the Galactic Republic, Anakin asks how they ended up in the Outer Rim.
Upon hearing his friends are stranded on Tatooine due their ship being damaged, Anakin offers to help fix it.
Anakin hearing his friends say they need to acquire the parts needed to fix their ship, only to have no money and nothing valuable to trade.
