~ Andy's catchphrase |
Andrew "Andy" Larkin is the 14-year-old main protagonist of the show, What's with Andy? He is Jen's younger brother. He is a prankster who is obsessed with pranks and loves to prank people.
He was voiced by Ian James Corlett.
History[]
Andy is a mischievous youth and the self-proclaimed "world's greatest prankster". The show follows him as he tries to perform elaborate practical jokes, or pranks, on people in the fictional town of East Gackle.
Andy's best friend, Danny Pickett, helps him out with almost every prank. His enemies include his older sister, Jen Larkin, and bullies Peter Lik, Andrew Leech, Craig Bennett (who is Jen's love interest), Jervis Coltrane (his rival who also likes Lori) and Principal DeRosa. Andy has a crush on a girl named Lori Mackney and usually tries to impress her.
Personality[]
While he likes to stir the pot, Andy isn't villainous or malevolent, but merely mischievous and a trickster. Despite his endless obsession with causing mischief and infuriating the people around him, Andy is ultimately a non-malicious boy who uses pranking as an outlet to express himself in his dull hometown. Additionally, he does have his fair share of kind moments (especially when it comes to his friendship with Danny and his crush on Lori), and most of his major targets are often deserving of it.
