Lucifer Morningstar : Very well. In human terms, once upon a time, a boy met a girl and they fell in love. They had sex. The only trouble was, they were celestial beings, so that moment created the universe.
Linda Martin : Mmm. The Big Bang.
Lucifer Morningstar : Never knew how appropriate the name was until now, did you ? Anyway, they became Mom and Dad. They had a whole litter of kids, including yours truly. And they built a house. They called it Heaven. They were happy.

Angels are supporting characters in the TV series Lucifer, serving as minor characters in Season 1, 2, 3 and 4, the final antagonists of Season 5, and minor protagonists in Season 6. They are the childrens of God and Goddess, the two deities who created the entire universe, and powerful entities that reside in Heaven under the rule of God and later Amenadiel, where they would welcoming any good human soul who is sent there and accomplishes every tasks asked by God.

At the beginning, God met the Goddess and they fell in love. According to Lucifer, having sex caused the big bang and the creation of the Universe. Together, they created their children, whom they baptized Angels. They also built two kingdoms : Heaven, which became their home, and Hell for an unknown purpose. They were happy. It is said that angels were born in their current adult form and their powers but they played together as children and had disagreements over the years like any family.

But a few years later, God started a new project, that he called “Humanity”. He become distant with his wife and family. Goddess become cold and ruthless because of this negligence and they started to neglecting their family.

One angel, Samael, now know as Lucifer, organized a rebellion against their father as a response for this negligence. He gathered more than half of his brothers and sisters, but the rebellion failed. God banished Lucifer from Heaven and condemned him to reign over Hell for Eternity.
