Annabeth Chase is the deuteragonist of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians duology.
She is the demigod daughter of Athena and Frederick Chase who lived at camp half blood for most of her life until she joins Percy in his quest to travel to the underworld and save his mother Sally Jackson from Hades Lord of the Underworld.

Personality[]
The movie Annabeth has most of Clarisse La Rue's personality; she is now tough and abrasive more than her book counterpart. She is also offended by Luke's betrayal, unlike the book where she always defended him when others started doubting him. However, when she meets him a second time, Annabeth is disgusted by his actions and is appalled by how he poisoned Thalia's tree.
She is also somewhat xenophobic towards Cyclopes, born from the hatred she felt for the ones who killed Thalia, her best friend.
Physical Appearance[]
In the first film Annabeth is a beautiful 16-year-old girl with medium length brown hair and blue eyes. In the second movie, Annabeth has her counterpart's iconic blonde hair and often wears out on a ponytail.
Powers and abilities[]
Like most demigod children, Annabeth has dyslexia, with her brain hardwired to translate Ancient Greek. In fact her tablet in the the second film has most of her text written in ancient Greek. She also has ADHD, which are her battle reflexes and let's her stay alert on battle.

Trivia[]
- Luke and Annabeth are portrayed as acquaintances more than they are childhood close friends. However, the second film implies that they were close as children but they drifted apart as they got older.
- In the books, Annabeth wonders what it would be like if she had dark hair, a reference to her film counterpart having brown hair.
- In the film, the reason Annabeth hates Cyclopes is they were the monsters who killed Thalia.
