Prologue[]
An early part of Anne's life.
Born on May 21–June 20, 2006, Anne lived a humble life is Los Angeles with both her parents when they decided to move to America to start a new life their, since then, Anne had a complicated relationship with her mother due to some of their tendencies annoying each other but still loved each dearly.
When Anne & Marcy First Meet Sasha (Clip) - The Third Temple - Amphibia

During her time in kindergarten, Anne would become good friends with a fantasy-loving girl named Marcy Wu, before making another one named Sasha Waybright after she stood up for them against some bullies, and ever since, they grew up together and have done many fun things. But as time went on, her relationship with her best friends soon grew into a toxic one and eventually began letting her and Marcy step on her more, and as such soon began taking the "easy way of life" and never acknowledging what she feels about herself.

One day, Anne was pulled by Sasha and Marcy into pulling a prank at school where it involved everyone into dancing while she released a bunch of puppies, after being caught by Principal Murphy, Anne is called (after Sasha and Marcy went of the hook easily) and the principal explains that she is worried about her specifically and, after getting her to admit that she was pulled into doing the prank, says she wants her to to write an essay on what she truly wants in life and what she's willing to do to get it to force her to think about these things instead of just going along with the flow or taking the easy way in everything. As Anne leaves the office Principal Murphy knows her birthday is tomorrow so she wishes Anne a happy early birthday.

On her 13th Birthday, the next day, Sasha convinced Anne to ditch school and have fun all around town, during that time, Marcy (who was upset after learning that she'll be moving out of state) discovers a mysterious music box (called the "The Calamity Box" that allows anyone to travel to other worlds she learned from a book) and shows it to Sasha as Anne's "Birthday gift". When Anne tried to leave in order to go to celebrate her birthday back home, Sasha strongarms her to blow it off. Later that night, after stealing the box from the thrift store she found it in, the moment she opened it, she finds out it very much works and she, Sasha, and Marcy are transported and separated in a world full of anthropomorphic amphibians called Amphibia.
Season I[]

In "Anne or Beast?," After spending weeks learning how to survive in Amphibia. Anne eventually comes near the town of wartwood and meets one of the locals named "one-eyed" Wally, but when she came to ask him for directions, he ran of screaming the second he saw her, in the morning, she sets up a trap to catch food, and when it activates, she runs over to find a young frog named Sprig Plantar, who has been trying to catch her to prove he can be responsible. After Anne saves him from a giant mantis, Sprig sees her as a hero.

However Anne later gets captured by an angry mob of frogs from Sprig's hometown led by Mayor Toadstool, but when two new giant mantises attack, she and Sprig work together to defeat them. After beating the bigger of the two mantises, Toadstool suggests running Anne out of town. Luckily for hwe Sprig stands up to the mob, taking responsibility for her well-being. His family, which include Sprig's grandfather Hop Pop and little sister Polly, decide to take Anne as their own to everyone's chagrin. Anne will now have live with the Plantar's until the valley clears up in a couple of months.

After settling into the basement in the Plantar's home, the moment she sees that no one is around Anne quietly pulls out the box that got her there in the first place and tries to get it to work. However, this time, unlike before, it doesn't do anything, making the box looks like a normal one as when she first found. This troubles Anne, causing herself to resign to her current fate.
While initially struggling with the local Amphibians' culture, and dealing with Amphibia's unfamiliar climate, over time, Anne slowly adapts to her new setting through bonding with the Plantars. Throughout Anne's stay in Wartwood, Anne starts to see friendship and relationships in a whole new light thanks to her frequent engagement with Sprig. She starts to yearn for a more caring relationship with everyone she cares for, while also discovering more about herself she never thought of before.

In "Anne Vs. Wild." Anne learns that the Plantars are about to go on their annual camping trip, but despite hating camping, Anne decides to come along anyway. After a while, they get attacked by a group of Cannibal frogs called Mudmen, and, after scaring them away with a bath bomb she discovered earlier, admits that she wanted to come along to not feel left out, to which the Plantar's happily say they will include her from now on wherever they go whether she likes it or not.
Upon returning home, Anne decides it's finally time to solve her "long way from home" problem and shows everyone the music box that brought her here, and while initially saying he hasn't seen it before, Hop Pop finds the box in an old book and learns that it was extremely dangerous and thought to be destroyed, but she is promised by Sprig that whatever happens, they're gonna find a way to bring her home.
The Money Toad Thief - Amphibia

In "Toad Tax." After spending a whole hour in the store where everybody made fun of her and nicknaming her "Scarecrow", Anne meets a trio of toads who are foot soldiers from toad tower, a place that governs over the valley, after learning that they've come to collect the yearly taxes of wartwood because they came in late, Anne sees this as an opportunity to get the town to respect her and decides to become their deputy and help them with collecting the taxes, but soon Anne begins to regret working with the toads due to their brute force and harshness towards the citizens, and it comes to a head when they begin to attack the plantar farm where she learns that Hop Pop is next on the list, she attempts to vouch for him adding that "he made [her] watch" him do it, but they don't believe any of it. Anne turns against the toads and fights them, but gets injured. At the last moment, Sprig arrives to protect her and the rest of the town threatens the toads. Sprig reveals to them that the Mayor stole the taxes and he is chased away by the townspeople.

After dealing with the intense money problem, Anne has the toads return all the stuff they've stolen from the town and ride back to their base with all the taxes, and afterwards everyone in wartwood praises Anne for her heroism and happily signs her cast as a token of gratitude, unaware that the toads plan to come back to Wartwood as payback for their rebellion after they decide to tell their captain everything they've witnessed when they get back to their tower.

In "Trip to the Archives." the gang head to the Historic wartwood Town Archives. where Hop Pop explains that soon the ice caps surrounding the valley will melt allowing them to pass through and look for a way to get Anne home, while everyone is enjoying reading, Sprig quickly grows bored and tries to get everyone to thrust into an adventure. However in his haste, he destroys a key piece that was supposed to keep the archive doors open; trapping them all inside. Anne pokes her head through the skylight and gets stuck just as cicadas arrive to graze. Sprig finds the bathroom and swims all through and rescues Anne in time. Anne tells Sprig that she needs to find answers even if it means doing boring things and Sprig apologizes.

Continuing in "Bizarre Bazaar." After returning from the archives, Sprig finds an egg that leads to the mysterious "Bizarre Bazaar" a nightly market that appears and disappears annually. Anne becomes convinced that the Bizarre Bazaar might hold the answers to the Music Box, and after sneaking away from Hop Pop, she and Sprig head over their to find some answers, eventually finding a stand of items that have similar designs like the music box, but the vender is out to lunch. So as they wait they decide to look around the bazaar. The vender, Valeriana, returns and Anne was about to show her the music box, but her backpack was taken, which makes her wonder if if Anne's the one she's been looking for. after a while, the duo run into Hop Pop who masqueraded as a toad named "The Wrecker", The kids apologize for not listening to him and Anne gives him the music box for safe keeping, asking him to make a solemn promise he must find answers.
In the last scene, later that night however, Hop Pop buries the box next to the tree beside the house, not wanting to see Anne bringing it around as it is too dangerous for the family, thus defying her.

In "Anne of the Year." Anne learns that she was nominated for and won wartwood's most prestigious award, the Frog of the Year, as she happily accepts the award to the approval of the townspeople, Toadstool criticizes Anne by claiming that she is not selfless. Anne challenges him by proclaiming that she will throw a party that is bigger than any other party that Wartwood has ever thrown. Back at home, Anne makes her plans for the party. She sets Hop Pop to be the MC and make jokes, Polly to be in charge of exclusivity by allowing people into the party and Sprig with finally expressing his love to his crush, Ivy Sundew, in order to make it feel complete.

Anne has everyone get to work with Loggle designing a statue and Stumpy catering. Polly begins using the party rope as a nunchaku, Hop Pop is having trouble with his written jokes and Sprig is nervous about talking to Ivy. When Toadstool proclaims that her party will be a disaster, Anne doubles down on everything telling Hop Pop to use improv, Loggle to redesign the statue, Stumpy to create shushimi (which he abides with a mudskipper) and soon starts to become a control freak in order to get things finished on time. The party finally starts with everything appearing in order, though Sprig still cannot talk to Ivy without freezing up. Eventually, things get out of hand with Hop Pop giving up and the mudskipper getting loose and starting a fire. Anne quickly recruits Toadstool to put out the fire and rescue the citizens.

Afterwards, as Anne apologizes for everything, Hop Pop explains that everyone didn't vote for her because she's flawless, but because of how far she's come, and Toadstool finally admits that he too is impressed, everyone returns to the party and play it out traditionally, and Ivy brings up the courage to ask Sprig out. After a while, Anne learns from Toadie that "a friend" wants to meet her at the bridge outside of town, she finds a hooded figure their and learns that it is none other that Sasha.
At first, she's delighted to find out that one of her friends is also in Amphibia, but she is soon shocked to find that the leader of the Toads, Captain Grime, has come to wartwood, along with his army.

Continuing in "Reunion." Sasha and the Toads invite the frogs to a banquet honoring Anne and Sasha's reunited alliance. While astonished and suspicious of Sasha's new allies, Anne approves the invitation, and together with the frogs of Wartwood, they travel to Toad Tower. As the frogs attend the banquet, Anne and Sasha hang out in Sasha's room. Sasha explains to Anne that the banquet was a trap to get Hop Pop to the tower to be fed to a giant Venus flytrap for accidentally inspiring rebellions in the valley as a result of running for mayor, prompting Anne to leave the room to save the frogs. Disguising herself as Sasha before entering the banquet, she leads the frogs through the underground sewage to try and find the exit. Eventually, Anne finds an exit to the sewers, only to be confronted by Sasha and the toad soldiers.

Dragged up to the top of the tower as Hop Pop is led to be executed, Anne begs Sasha to free them, but she silences Anne again, as she did on Earth. A furious Sprig, who knows Anne as a truly kind and considerate girl, throws mud at Sasha, calls her a bully, and helps Anne. Sasha is enraged by Sprig's defiance and attempts to kill him, but Anne intervenes, finally standing up to her. Grime then steps in, offering to release the frogs if Anne can beat Sasha in a duel. Anne does so, but Grime backs out at the last second, but just before he throws Hop Pop down the tower, Boomshrooms (which Wally planted) go off and bring the tower down, Anne precariously manages to catch Sasha from a crumbling ledge, but out of shame over the way she treated her and to save Anne, Sasha lets herself fall, forcing Captain Grime to escape with an unconscious Sasha.
In the last scene, after returning to wartwood, the Plantars promise Anne that they will get her home and she embraces them as her family. with Anne assuring them that whatever they'll face outside the valley, they'll do it together.
Season II[]

In "Handy Anne" sometime after the toad tower incident, Anne and Sprig are excited that the "new season" coming up, though traumatized since the "Sasha incident", she is still ready to become the best "her" she can be, shortly afterwards Hop Pop and Polly arrive in the Fwagon (aka the family wagon) and tell her that they'll be taking it to "Newtopia", an ancient city of knowledge that resides in the very center of Amphibia, hoping that someone there will help find Anne a way back home, but because they'll be gone for a long time, Hop Pop hires Chuck to protect the house in their absence. After seeing how incapable Chuck is at defending the house, Anne decides to fortify the house herself. She uses a special potion from Loggle to strengthen the plants, but does not heed the warning on using too much, resulting in the plant's mutating into a giant monster and destroying the house. Anne and the Plantars are able to defeat it, and Anne learns that Chuck can quickly fix up houses.
Before they set off on their journey, Anne asks Hop Pop if they can bring the Music Box with them, but remembering he buried earlier, he declines, noting that it's safe with his "contacts", afterwards, the gang head of towards newtopia, but turn back after remembering they forgot to give Chuck the keys to the house.
During the battle, while not knowing it, Anne's eyes glowed bright blue when battling the mutated vegetables, something which would come into fruition much later.

In "Wax Museum", Anne and Plantar family eventually stop at a town where its citizens marvel at Anne's appearance. This leads them to an oddities wax museum, where they meet the Curator of the place who shows off the various wax statues he has on display.
When Anne comes across a portable CD player that came from her world, she allows herself to be put on display for a day so she can obtain it. She goes back later that night to prepare, but the Curator traps her and attempts to permanently encase her in wax. When the Plantars discover Anne missing, they go back to the oddities museum and try to free her.
They find out that the wax "statues" are actually live creatures where they free them and save Anne. The creatures drag the Curator into a room as red wax spills under the door. Sprig is able to get the CD player and the family makes their final push to Newtopia.

In "Marcy at the Gates" after months of being on the road, the gang finally arrive in newtopia, but Anne is feeling down because she hasn't found a trace of her other BFF, Marcy Wu, anywhere during the trip, Sprig believes it to be for the better after the scuffle between her and Sasha, but Anne states that she still cares for Sasha despite what happened, and that Marcy is completely different from Sasha, as she an incredibly intelligent person, but she also tends to act clumsy and oblivious. Upon arriving at the gates, they learn that it's closed because of a Barbari-ant situation happening outside.
Soon afterward, they are attacked by one, but they are fortunately saved by none other Marcy, They decide to take out the barbari-ants together with Anne wanting to protect Marcy, while Sprig is suspicious of her after their encounter with Sasha, after she proves her capabilities during her time in Amphibia, Anne tells Marcy about Sasha, and they both promise to find a way home, unaware that a mysterious figure is watching over them

Later on in "The Plantars Check" after being greeted by Marcy's caretaker, Lady Olivia, the gang head up to the castle of newtopia, where they head to throne room and meet the giant sized king over all amphibia, Andrias Leviathian, who happens to have a jovial and fun-loving attitude during the time he spent with Marcy, and after learning about how Anne got here, decides to study on the box and gives the Plantars his golden passport to stay at a lavish hotel, where they once again spend the day geting into some wacky misadventures before heading into their room and calling it a night.

In "Hopping Mall" after sometime in newtopia, The family visit the mall to buy some souvenirs, where Anne spots a butterfly teapot and wants to buy it, but she and sprig have to compete in a derby-styled competition with a bunch of other customers, chief among them being a large newt named Priscilla the Killa and her minute daughter Pearl, to get it for free, despite winning it, she later gives it to her after learning it was made by her Mom, as a token of gratitude, Pearl gifts Anne with a butterfly trinket, something which she intends to give her mom after returning home
Later that night, both being unable to sleep, Anne and her buddy head up to their room's balcony where she tells Sprig she misses her mother while he says he cannot remember his, because she died while he and Polly were very young, and the two of them hug each other in comfort.

In "A Day at the Aquarium" After spending the night having a sleepover with Marcy, Anne and the Plantars meet with King Andrias, who reveals that he has deciphered the clues surrounding the music box, as it turns out, the box was used by his ancestors centuries ago and were "frail explorers" as they used the box to travel all throughout the multiverse and says that the three stones inside the box must be charged (as they had lost their color when they arrived), and in order to do so they must be charged at three separate temples Anne suggests going back to pick up the music box and and meet back up with Marcy at the first temple. However, Marcy points out that Anne needs to stay with her in Newtopia to find the first temple so they can go together, and allows her and the Plantars to spend the day together before saying goodbye.

The gang decides to visit the local aquarium due to their calming reputation, but in each exhibit they enter, they find something that reminds them of the adventures they had, causing them all to cry at the drop of a hat, eventually they decide to go to a stingray show, but find out it includes a water snake that looks like the same one that almost ate Anne and Sprig when they snuck out of the house, their crying spooks the snake but causes the stingrays to attack them, they defeat them and set them free, which causes them to get kicked out of the aquarium, but they still had a fun day anyway.
After packing up and getting ready to go home, Marcy, feeling bad for Anne, allows her to go back to wartwood and come to her when she's finished, she runs towards the gates of newtopia and happily reunites with the plantars, unaware that the King has a proposition for Marcy.

In "Return to wartwood" after reuniting with the townsfolk, Anne and Sprig learn that Hop Pop and Polly had promised to bring back everyone souvenirs when they returned home, and while at first against lying to everyone, she is eventually roped into it when Sprig thinks Ivy will dump him when he forgot to give her gift.
They decide to stage an attack where the gifts get destroyed by a monster and summon a gold eating chicken-themed monster called the Chicka-lisk, which will only attack when provoked, they succeed in summoning it, but the townsfolk decide to fight it anyway. Eventually Hop Pop comes clean and, at first angry, the townsfolk say that they missed those kinds of shenanigans with them.

In "After the Rain" Anne gets a message from Marcy saying that she'll be arriving soon and is shocked to find out that he buried the box, when Hop Pop attempts to explain the misunderstanding, Anne believes that he was trying to keep her in Amphibia forever and she angrily storms off into the woods and moves back into the cave when she first arrived in Amphibia.

Hop Pop eventually finds her and they are forced to work together to save Sprig and Polly from a pit of Magpie Beetles, and they manage to pull them out, along with the box they took. As Anne prepares to leave again, Hop Pop reveals that Sprig and Polly's parents died during a Heron attack while he was out adventuring, and vowed to protect his family at all costs.
Hearing all this, Anne forgives Hop Pop and they head back home. Hop Pop shows them the book that told him of the Calamity Box's origin, and Anne warns the group that the temple missions will be dangerous. Nevertheless, the Plantars agree to help her anyway they can.

In "The First Temple" Marcy meets up with Anne and the gang and they all head to the first temple which is composed of a series of various puzzles and games they need to solve, however, during all of this, Anne and Hop Pop continue to have awkward moments due to the events of the previous episode resulting in the two of them getting into an argument. When they reach the final trial, it pits the both of them against each other, which leads to her admitting that while she does forgive him, she says she just needs time to put the whole conflict behind her, wanting things to go back to normal as much as he does.
After seeing how everyone else is struggling with this game, Marcy eventually forfeits the game but learns that it was a test for her to learn Humility, the first stone is fully charged and Anne and Hop Pop are on better terms with Hop Pop, unbeknownst to them, Marcy tells the success to Andrias and informs this to a Mysterious Being.

In "The Second Temple" As Anne and the gang head to the second temple, where she once again meets Valeriana, she revealed that she was a member of an ancient order that investigated the Calamity Box years ago, and is now the last of the order. Anne is put through a series of tests, with the last one getting her to admit her previous greedy deeds and taking full responsibility for it.
Valeriana declares that she passed the test after watching her actually learn from her mistakes and accept responsibility. and allows her to charge the gem. but it is only halfway through when she thinks her friends are in danger.

In "Bessie & MicroAngelo" while getting ready for the third and final temple, Anne takes up a suggestion by Marcy to get a new look, something she is against due to her previous ones done by Sasha and Marcy, and when the armorer Bernardo arrives, she decides to anyway to live out the fantasy since they'll be going home soon.
after going through a bunch of alternate outfits, Anne finally decides to just go for a chest plate over her old clothes, because she's finally feeling happy with who she is.

In "The Third Temple" The gang head to the third and final temple to recharge the last stone, where along the way, they once again bump into Sasha & Grime, she then apologized for her wrongdoings and says she has come to help them with the final temple, while Anne was cynical at first, but she agreed to assist them in fulfilling their task. Anne then gained back some trust in Sasha after she stood up for herself and faced a giant stone guard in a chamber of low gravity.
After getting the last stone recharged, Anne agreed to start over again with Sasha, unaware that Sasha was using them to get into newtopia and allow the toads to rule over all of Amphibia.

In both "The Dinner" & "Battle of the Bands" While initially struggling to leave everything that happened to them as water under the the Bridge, everyone soon becomes good friends with each other. On one final night before heading back to Newtopia, after having one final night of fun with the frogs of Wartwood, Anne happy then bids farewell to everyone in wartwood and reassures them that she'll always remember them wherever world she's in and as a last request before going home tomorrow, she takes a grand group picture with everyone.
In "True colors" with all three stones fully-charged and ready to see home again, the girls & their companions fly back to Newtopia with the music box in tow so they can finally return their world, but while Sprig is upset that their adventures will soon be over, Anne reassures him that as long as they have the music box with them, they can see each other whenever they want, unaware that she's about to experience 3 whole forms of betrayal all in one day.

Sasha's betrayal is the first she witnesses as she and Grime reveal their plan to take over Newtopia by imprisoning the king and signaling the concealed toad warriors. Anne is so enraged that Sasha has deceived her again, that she completely cuts her from her life altogether. An enraged Sasha attempts to send her home against her will, but since she doesn't know how to use the box, she has everyone sent to the dungeon, on the way, they are rescued by General Yunan, and they hide out at an abandoned restaurant, Anne rallies everyone together and come up with a plan. Hop Pop, Marcy, and Olivia will free Andrias from the dungeon, Polly, Yunan, and Frobo would attack the city's toads from the front, while Anne and Sprig will shut the gate, preventing the rest of the toad army from entering. Sasha arrives just as they shut the gate to tell Anne about the awful secret she had discovered about King Andrias, but Anne ignores her and the two fight. Sprig beats Grime by striking him with his own Warhammer, while Anne defeats Sasha by putting her own cloak over her head.

After presenting Andrias the music box, just before he can activate it, Andrias revealed that his ancestors were not explorers as he had previously said, but "glorious" conquerors as he placed the music box on a pedestal to power up his castle, allowing it to fly, it then reactivated ancient factories across Amphibia, resulting in a mechanical Frog-bot army flying towards the castle in seconds, Anne then learns that, to her horror, that Andrias intends to follow in his ancestors' footsteps and conquer the multiverse, beginning with Earth. Anne steps up to stop him but Marcy stood out, claiming that this was not part of the deal he had given her, only for the gigantic newt to acknowledge that he had been lying to her all along, afterwards Anne discovers that Marcy deliberately stranded them in Amphibia, leaving her and Sasha stunned. Marcy said she was aware of the Calamity Box's potential and claimed that her father had accepted a new job out of state and that her family was relocating; intending to use the box to transport the three of them to a world where they would always be together. Anne then backs away in distress and disgust, leaving Marcy on her knees crying and saying she didn't want to be alone.

While completely angered that both her human friends betrayed her, Anne rallies everyone against the tyrant king and after a brief fight, Andrias grabs Sprig and threatens to throw him off the castle Anne begs Andrias to put Sprig down, claiming "he's [her] best friend, in this world or any other world" but he refuses and drops him out of the castle window to die. The sadness then turned into anger caused by Andrias' deed unleashes the power of the blue gemstone still connected within her, and she battles Andrias and destroying his military force ferociously as everyone is in amazement and shock of her incredible strength. Anne powers down after knocking the wind out of King Andrias, and Sprig, who was saved by Marcy, comes up to her, thrilled that he is still alive, while her surrogate frog family embraces. Andrias pulls himself up after seeing she can't fully control her power and decides he can't let Anne survive, but Marcy uses the Calamity Box to open a gateway to Earth while Sasha and Grime keep the king occupied. Anne and the Plantars, as well as Frobo's head, leap through. Anne beckons Marcy to come with, but Andrias uses his laser sword to stab her from the back right out of her chest while Anne and the others watch in horror. Marcy apologizes for her conduct just as she collapses from the seemingly deadly wound, dropping the Calamity Box which closes the portal and sends Anne with the Plantars away from Amphibia.

In "The New Normal" Picking up after the events of "True colors" Anne decides that they need to head back to her home as she had been gone for five months and her parents are worried sick. Not wanting to freak them out, Anne has the Plantars hide so that she can ease her parents into telling them everything; however, she decides to keep King Andrias' invasion, Sasha and Marcy's betrayals, and her Calamity powers a secret until they feel trustworthy enough of her. Unsurprisingly, her parents are overjoyed to see their daughter return after so long. However, the moment is ruined when the Plantars, misinterpreting a bird cawing as Anne's signal, reveal themselves, shocking them both. After showing a presentation explaining what she has been doing all this time (leaving out the events of "True Colors" to avoid more Panic) the Boonchuys are amazed that she went through so much, they are unsure about wanting to keep the Plantars with them. Scared that someone will take them and do something terrible to them, Anne insists that they stay and the Boonchuys finally agree.

After spending a long time being pampered by her parents, Anne has finally had enough. She demands that she be given space, yet also wants to go to the market so that she can show the Plantars around. The Boonchuys are shocked as she never liked going to the market, but Hop Pop explains that Anne has significantly matured and that he trusts her. Anne disguises the Plantars as they head to market and see the food that it has to offer. During this, Andrias, determined to eliminate Anne before he invades earth, sends a robot assassin to destroy her, while avoiding all signs of his existence, Anne and the Plantars fight the Cloak-Bot and realize that it too is trying to remain unknown and trick it into running into a freezer. The Plantars freeze and the drone attempts to attack them. Enraged by this, Anne unleashes her blue gem power and destroys a chunk of the robot which flees. Upon escaping the freezer, Anne collapses and the Plantars use a durian to wake her. The Boonchuys, unaware what happened, commend Anne for being mature as she and the Plantars remain quiet about the incident. Anne decides that she does not want to use her powers as it severely weakens her. Elsewhere, the Cloak-Bot is recuperating and decides to double down on its efforts to kill Anne.
In "Fight at the Museum" after spending many sleepless nights trying to find a way back to amphibia, Anne and the plantars go to the museum and find an ancient vase with a picture of a frog and and the Calamity Box; finding their first real clue, they are once again attacked by Andrias' Frobot Assassin. After driving it away yet again, they decided to enlist the help of their new friend Dr. Jan, who saw them fighting the robot and the frogs without their disguises. After earning their trust, Dr. Jan promises to do some research.
Afterwards she finds a hidden message written on the jar in amphibian, When Anne reads the words using Marcy's Journal, it reads "Seek the Mother of Olms, she will guide you to your destiny", and while they don't get what it even means, it is something that will aid them much later.

In "Anne-sterminator" Anne's parents become impressed with how mature she has gotten over the recent events, but Anne is overcome with guilt and is ready to explain to them that a killer robot is chasing her, and to tell them everything else that happened in Amphibia. At that moment, the killer bot shows up ready to take out his target. The family escapes and is launched into a high-speed chase throughout Los Angeles while the countdown clock in its torso keeps ticking down towards its ultimate demise. During this time, Anne realizes that her mother had high expectations for her and she in turn is angered at her for lying. Anne tells her parents that she lied to protect them and the Plantars. They work together to defeat the Cloak-Bot, with Anne also revealing her Calamity powers,
Realizing why Anne did what she did, Mrs. Boonchuy comforts her unconscious daughter and they drive home on good terms, unfortunately, the high speed chase caught the attention of the FBI, and after witnessing the frog face caught on camera, decide to call up one of their agents "Mr. X" to deal with the situation
In "Mr. X" Anne and the Plantars decide to go to see movies at Super Cinema 40, unaware that some unusual government force is trying to track them. Mr. X eventually arrives as they try to fight him and hide before they are rescued by Anne's parents who knew about the incident and did their own ways to stop it.

In "If You Give a Frog a Cookie" As the Plantars are feeling homesick, Anne is contacted by Dr. Jan, saying she has found a scientist who may help the four return to Amphibia. Despite her warning about her reputation (stating that she's a lose cannon), she takes the Plantars to Dr. Frakes' Brainasium to meet Dr. Frakes, only to be greeted by her level-headed assisstant Terri in Frakes' office door.
To ensure that their covers aren't blown, Anne & the plantars say that they're reporters, causing Dr. Frakes to immediately allow them inside, entering the office, Dr. Frakes reveals that same night the Calamity Box was opened months ago, a rare energy surge caused an interdimensional portal to open (sucking in the very CD player Anne would later find in Amphibia), allowing them to redo the experiment multiple times, although none of the guests believe her. Once again being guilt-ridden by the plantars, Anne gets Dr. Frakes to test one portal, as the portal failed to open one to Amphibia, a surge exposed the Plantars as frog people from another world, prompting Anne and Terri to team up to stop Frakes from dissecting them, even if it means Terri would give up her job. Anne successfully manages to defeat Frakes and Terri promises to build the four a portal so they can return home.

In "Froggy Christmas" A few days after meeting Terri, Anne and her family lay low for a while and pretty soon, it becomes close to a few days before Christmas, while they were getting ready for the holidays, Mrs. Boonchuy gets a call about joining the Christmas-Palooza Parade, only to turn it down because they need to keep a low profile from both Mr. X and King Andrias. What she didn't take into account was that her daughter, wanting to do something for her parents in return & not wanting to make her give up on her dream, secretly calls back the parade committee and changes the "No" to a "Yes" before heading out to do some more stuff for her parents as her gift to them.
The Parade Chase! - Amphibia - Froggy Little Christmas (Clip)

Unaware to Anne, King Andrias sends a dragonfly drone to search for Anne and destroy her. The next day on Christmas Eve, she and the Plantars surprised her parents with the float, much to their joy. They then joined the parade, with Anne comforting her when she learns that she thought that the parade is also about being welcomed into the community. To her surprise, King Andrias has found her and then attacks her, her parents and the Plantars while they were on the float by throwing a giant candy cane at them. They took off, as Andrias used the robotic Santa to chase after them and destroy them. Anne, her parents, and the Plantars attempt to fight back by throwing some stuff from their float, but have no effect though the giant cookie prop did had effect on the robot. They come upon a dead end and have nothing left to fight back. Andrias informs Anne this is the end of her, even saying she's been a bad girl this year. However, they fire the tree at the robot and destroy the drone, but not before telling Andrias "Merry Christmas".

Later, Anne, her parents, and the Plantar family return home. Despite what happened, they had a good time, with her dad getting an awesome christmas picture. Before heading inside, Anne finally tells the Plantars what Christmas is really about; it's about spending time with the people you love and care. Sprig gave her a present which turns out to be a figurine of her, because she is Sprig's hero, and while everyone was asleep, Anne, still worried about Sasha and Marcy and realizing this is her first Christmas without them, writes letters to the Wus and Waybrights (the Waybrights being separated because she knows Sasha's parents are divorced) and inform them that their daughters are trapped in another world and promises to bring them home no matter what. The next day on Christmas, Anne gives her mom the butterfly pin that she won from Pearl.

After that, in "Escape to Amphibia" Anne and the others learn from Terri that the very reason a music box was used to travel between universes is because, due to the infinite universes, the newts of old used music to travel to them, Anne, her parents, and the Plantars then head off to Spendco to pick up some last minute things for the portal. Though Anne starts to show fear and sadness over the thought of leaving her parents after just reuniting with them and tries to talk to them only for Mr. X and the FBI to finally catch up to them and kidnap the Plantars. knowing they can't do it alone, The Boonchuys enlist the help of everyone they encountered during their time on earth (Including Molly Jo, Humphrey Westwood, and Ally & Jess)

They manage to sneak into the base only to get captured when Mr. X tricks them with the same frogs and tadpole they previously used to trick him. Anne breaks down and laments over how if she can ever take King Andrias down, when she can't even say goodbye to her parents, her parents comfort her and remind her of everything that she has accomplished before, and reassure her that they will always be in her heart no matter where they go, the camp suddenly powers down due to Dr. Jan and Terri's successful theft of a generator. And with newfound confidence, Anne fights her way through the corridor and frees the plantars.
Escape to Amphibia ending (Amphibia - Escape to Amphibia)

Back at the warehouse, with all the stuff necessary Anne and her allies open the portal back to amphibia, only for the generator to not have enough power and thus make the portal to small for anyone of them to enter . To make matters worse, Mr. X and the FBI manage to track them down. But before they can take them away again Anne, who is now more confident in herself than ever before as well as even getting better at controlling her crazy powers, uses them to make the portal big enough for them and unleash a giant praying mantis on the FBI while she returns to Amphibia after saying goodbye to her family. She and the Plantars are happy to be back and ready to take King Andrias down only to be shocked to find Amphibia reduced to a wasteland.
Meet The Resistance (Clip) - Commander Anne - Amphibia

In "Commander Anne" She and the Plantars rush back to Wartwood, only to find it in ruins but discover that the townspeople have formed a rebellion against Andrias with Sasha leading it (and with Grime deciding to follow her lead) and are using the tunnels below the Plantar Farm as their secret hideout. However, after reuniting with Anne, Sasha decides to hand command over to her, despite her reluctance. The resistance's first mission is to destroy a factory where mind control collars are being produced, but it quickly becomes apparent that Sasha is better prepared for the job than Anne who keeps making various mistakes throughout the day. When they finally arrive, they barely arrive at the factory grounds but a giant snake with a mind control collar comes up and attacks the group. Anne tries to direct their attacks, but everyone gets swallowed whole.
Anne begs Sasha to take control, but she refuses as the last time she took control, as she ruined their friendship with her selfishness. Anne allows herself to be swallowed; urging Sasha to take control once again and direct everyone to widen themselves in the snake's throat so that it can cough them out. They break off its collar where it slithers away and proceed to blow up the factory. Anne finally convinces Sasha to take command again as she is better at it and she does so; Sasha agrees to take the lead but guarantees Anne that they will co-lead the resistance as partners. Anne is happy to be back with Sasha and furthermore is confident that they will rescue Marcy, and with that out of the way, Anne and the resistance spend the next few weeks taking down bases all across Amphibia to take down Andrias' organization before he'll be completely ready to travel & conquer earth and other worlds.

In "Olm Town Road" Despite the rebellions successful missions, none of their attacks are putting a dent in Andrias' campaign, Anne remembers that they found a message back on Earth that tells them to find the Mother of Olms. Sprig and Polly remember that the only olms they have encountered are Lysil and Angwin from Quarreler's Pass and Anne, Sasha and the Plantars head there, only to discover drills everywhere on the path. They go into a cave and find the two headed olm whom they immediately demand answers from. The two admit that they could find the Mother of Olms in the city of Proteus, but they were banished for their bickering during guard duty causing the near destruction of the city. Luckily, Sasha convinces them to help them out. When they reach their destination Parisia, the guardian of the city of Proteus who is stubbornly in denial about King Andrias' forces closing in on them and refuses to help or be offered help from others. However after Lysil and Angwin both agree to put their lives on the line to rescue Proteus from a giant drill and after Sasha insults her for continuing to deny everything, Parisia was so impressed she allows the group to see the Mother of Olms and begrudgingly allowed the twins back into the Proteus (under heavy supervision) and they head down to see their guide.

Continuing in "Mother of Olms" everyone goes down an ancient part of Proteus where they officially meet the titular Olm and asks for why they should come to her, There, they finally encounter the thousands-year old mystic to ask her about the message. It is here that it's because that she's come to tell them of an ancient prophecy of the music box, but being centuries so old she doesn't remember it, and after a crazy adventure inside her brain, she learns that she wrote it down on the ceiling, and says that these following events will occur to them now:

Upon hearing this, Sasha asks if her, Anne, and Marcy are the three stars from the prophecy, Mother Olm asks if they burn bright with the power of the stones, which they know Anne can, though she can't control it. This implies that the other two, Sasha and Marcy, will eventually get their "cool anime powers" too, but since King Andrias has stolen the music box, he has stolen access to their powers, but since Anne still has some of her powers, she can restore the power to her friends. The olms believe the stones are meant for a greater purpose should be left alone, but others believe the stones should be used for conquest, and their arrogance and greed has created something unnatural that "does not sleep and will not die." She also says that the olms believe that three of them were summoned to help save the residents of Amphibia (and by extension the multiverse as well) from what they've become, the worst version of themselves.
Now that the human girls know they need to get to music box back from Andrias now more than ever they decide that Wartwood Resistance should get a lot more recruits to prepare for an all out assault. Thus, they went on to gather all the species of Amphibia to unite and lead them against Andrias, with Grime's sister Beatrix leading the toads, Anne and Sprig's old combat teacher Tritonio Espada leading the newts, and an unexpected help in the form of mushroom zombies lead by a talking one named Apothecary Gary, as Andrias has been using his spores to power his Mind-controlling collars and control the wild life.

In "The Three Armies" after gathering the largest number on frogs, newts, and toads against Andrias, Sasha and Anne rally the rebellion to get ready for the fight, but they learn that all three species have never liked one another and that having them all agree to fight together in one day would be difficult. Anne is convinced she can get everyone to work together as she believes that her incredible ability to act as a mediator will win out. She tries to get everyone to work together via team-building exercises, but they all end in disaster. Fed up, Anne releases her powers to set everyone straight and the three armies finally formulate a plan, which involves the army attacking Andrias' front lines while sending a small team to infiltrate his castle and steal the Music Box.
Just then immediately after they came to agree on how to face their enemy, Mother Olm arrives and reveals that Andrias is planning to invade Earth tonight. Now that the three armies have truly become one, they all begin to mobilize and march to Newtopia to bring Andrias down.

In "The Beginning of the End" The rebellion gathers together and prepare to go to war. However, Sasha decides to speak to Anne privately about their relationship with Marcy. While Sasha is still upset with her over how she tricked them and nearly ruined their lives, Anne is still forgiving of her and even comes to believe that neither of them have treated her well in the past, nor showed any real interest in her hobbies. King Andrias is surprised by the arrival of the rebellion and sends his robots to go and fight them. True to the plan, the frogs, toads and newts all take out the robot army. During which, Apothecary Gary, the olms and the Moss Man, whose mere existence causes everyone to believe One-Eyed Wally finally, allows them to take advantage of the fight. Andrias hops down to fight the rebellion himself. Anne, Sasha, the Plantars and Grime enter the castle where Anne finally tells Sasha that while she is upset with Marcy, she has learned to forgive her, much like how she forgave her and Hop Pop, which is just enough for her to comply. Just as they come close to the room where the music box is being kept they come across a mind controlled Yunan and Olivia, but they manage to destroy their collars and get them on their side. But before Olivia and General Yunan can fully warn them, the group fall into into a trap and to their horror, discover that Marcy is being possessed by Andrias' Master, The Core, a biomechanical digital amalgamation of Amphibia's greatest minds and previous rulers (Chief among them being Andrias' cold and ruthless father Aldrich) preserved for all eternity.

With them captured the Core announces their victory which causes the rebellion to fall back. However once they're gone, Anne realizes that Darcy and Andrias are just as clueless about the music box as they are and just as they are about to kill her: saying using the box's powers has been risky due to Anne still holding some of it's powers. Fortunately Anne points out the possibility that doing so might destroy what is left of the box's power. Darcy realizes that this might be true and decides to keep her alive for now. With the prisoners being taken to be fitted for mind-control collars, they open a portal and the Core brings their entire army to Earth. Where everyone in the city looks up in horror as Andrias' castle and his armada darken the sky and city.

In "All In" with everyone captured and locked in the hangar, Anne tries to use her powers to break everyone out, but Sprig stops her by pointing out it will just tire her out. Polly eventually uses one of her gadgets to break the floor around her and everyone lands safely on a rooftop pool. As they look out on the city, Hop Pop recognizes the two herons Andrias brought with him are the same ones that killed Sprig and Polly's parents; traumatizing the Plantars. After fighting back a few drones, The heroes meet up with Anne's parents and Mr. X (having understood the whole misunderstanding with the Plantars), they head to Anne and Sasha's school where Sasha wonders if they can beat the core, but Anne reassures her that they can beat it and will save both Marcy and the multiverse.
Anne Defeat Andrias Become a Cyborg - Amphibia (S3 EP17)

After some brainstorming Anne & Sasha come up with a plan for counterattack in which Anne and the rest battle the drones on the ground; getting some help from their L.A. friends. While Sasha, Grime, Yunan and Olivia break into the flying castle and disable the shields, Seeing the herons causes the Plantars to freeze in fear, but with supportive words from Anne, and after seeing the Boonchuys in danger, the Plantars overcome their trauma and break the herons mind control necklaces while using their wild dance to tame them, On orders by The Core, Andrias steps onto the battlefield donning his robotic armor The Dyplosaurus and calls out Anne with the intent to face her one on one for the fate of both universes, despite it obviously being a trap, Anne looks at the "Who Am I?" essay, and after a bit of a moment of self-reflection, shares her appreciation and love for the Plantars, explaining what she has to do, and goes all out with king of Amphibia all over the city. Despite having the upper hand and beating him down, Anne's calamity powers soon run out, but just before Andrias finishes her off, Sprig arrives and levels that he has a letter from Leif (The one who betrayed her and Sprig's ancestor), which reads that despite leaving newtopia and settling down, she never forgot about him and urges him to open his heart again, this causes the 1000 year old newt king to break down and makes Darcy (who spent the entire fight battling Sasha and Grime) force him to fight again, but it distracts it long enough for Sasha to sever it's connection, and with Leif in his thoughts, allows Anne to finish him off (while also revealing he really survived for a thousand years by turning himself into a cyborg)

As she and Sprig see this they also witness the castle's shield turn off which makes her realize Sasha & Grime did it and she & the Plantars fly up there to save Marcy, upon heading to the castle she finds that while Sasha succeeded in breaking the link between Marcy and the Core it still rendered her mind unable to move, she and Sasha cry over Marcy's unconscious body and forgive her for everything she's done, and to there joy she slowly awakens and the three are united once again. After everything that's happened to them Anne assures her two human friends that no matter what happens, their friendship will stay strong. Afterwards the entire gang comes together for a group hug (unaware that Darcy's helmet comes to life and scurries away while no one is looking), and with Andrias as their willing prisoner, Anne and the rest of the heroes take the castle back to Amphibia to announce their victory to the rest the Resistance. As everyone is celebrating Sprig wonders if something will happen between them but Anne assures them that whatever happens they'll get through it together, unfortunately the peace & serenity is quickly ruined when he warns her & everyone that the moon is getting closer.

Continuing on in "The Hardest Thing" Anne and Company learn that the Core had turned Amphibia's Moon into a doomsday device and programmed it to crash into Amphibia should it ever lose control. Mother Olm then arrives and reveals that the prophecy has come full circle, though she reveals that the prophecy is really a request that the three girls help save amphibia from destruction, of course the girls agree to help, despite knowing that in doing so will deplete the gems powers entirely. Before leaving, Mother Olm tells Anne that there may still not be enough energy to defeat the Core and that she would need to use a "secret spell" in order to defeat it. This spell can only be wielded by one, but could result in their death. She tells her that she "have only but to ask" when it comes time to use it. Anne heads into the castle and is surprised that Valeriana is here to help them. Using her abilities, the gem powers are charged into the girls who are now all empowered enough to fly and exert energy. They all fly into space where they proceed to destroy all the robots and monsters sent out by the Core and try to push back the moon.

But even with their powers and the aid of the remaining Frobots (sent by Andrias having finally decided to stand up to the Core), it's still not enough to beat the Core and to make matters worse, due to their bodies not being used to the powers like Anne, Sasha and Marcy's powers start to run out, in a last ditch attempt to save amphibia, Anne talks them into letting her use the stones herself, which they reluctantly do, now alone and facing the core, Anne asks the stones to "help [her] save the world [she] loves", and the stones agree to do so, now all-powerful, Anne uses her power to permanantly obliterate the core for good, ending it's reign of terror for good, but it kills her in the process, surrounded by all her friends and allies, Anne assures them that saving Amphibia was the best decision she made, before disintegrating into a pile of leaves

But to her surprise after hearing some echoes, Anne finds herself waking up in a limbo-like dimension resembling a poster depicting a tiny house and garden floating in space in her room on Earth. When the curious girl enters the house she meets The creator of the Stones who takes the form of her pet cat domino (it at first did so as an old fashioned computer but changes it when she mocks its dated appearance), mainly because she can't grasp it's true form despite all the craziness she's already seen, she learns why she's brought here because it offers Anne to take it's place as watcher over the multiverse as she is the only person who to have ever used the stones for selfless purposes. But Anne turns it down after saying that she's still 13 and will need to live a full life if she ever decides to take over the role of a god and reflects how with her time in Amphibia shows her that everyone in the Omniverse is changing and growing, with this new understanding, the guardian fully resurrects Anne and will wait "Another 78 years" for her Anne to accept it's role, much to her confusion.

After her time with the God, Anne awakens back in Amphibia and reunites everyone who are overjoyed to see her alive. She also discovers that the Guardian has also gifted with 3 shards of the Gems, which are only enough for the trip back home. The next day, Anne finally says goodbye to the Plantars, especially Sprig, with whom she leaves her cellphone to help with future adventures along with reassuring him that she'll never forget him, meaning they'll never really be apart, as Valeriana opens a portal back to Earth, Anne has one final hug with Sprig before she follows Sasha and Marcy through the portal and finally returns home, leaving Amphibia forever.

Now back home, Anne's friendship with Sasha and Marcy continues to grow stronger than ever before, and even though the latter eventually did move out of California alongside her parents, she always finds time to chat with them and visits her friends whenever possible. Similarly, Anne and Sasha ended up in different friend groups when they entered high school, but their bond is still strong. 10 years later, Anne has now grown up to become a successful herpetologist and works at the Aquarium of the Pacific where she is in charge of a frog exhibit named Amphibia, where it is based on places of her second home. She has also named one specific pink male South-American tree frog after Sprig. She still keeps in touch with her human friends from time to time who are living their own lives but are still the best of friends. Sasha and Marcy meet up with her, and they all leave the aquarium to celebrate Anne's twenty-third birthday, with Anne expressing how happy she is and completely accepts her life and her true self.
