On the way, Annie and Enos are approached by Crazy Ralph, a local who was drunk. he warns her and Enos to leave saying that the camp was cursed and refers to it as "Camp Blood" however, Enos swarms Ralph and keeps driving. Enos tells Annie about several tragedies that occurred for years in Crystal Lake such as Jason Voorhees's drowning in 1957, and the death of two counselors that occurred a year later, and who never caught the criminal, Annie listen to him but don't take him seriously, after telling Annie that she'd better come home, Enos leaves her at the crossroads and says goodbye.

Annie is approached by a jeep driven by Pamela Voorhees she talks to Pamela, mentioning her love for children, Pamela tells Annie about her life in a romantic version of her early life with her husband Elias and how she moved to Crystal Lake with him and their son, Jason and became a cook at camp. Annie notices that woman is increasing in speed, Annie asks her to stop several times. Then they pass the road leading to the camp, Annie pointed at her, but Pamela reassures her that she knew a shortcut, Increasingly restless, Annie, after asking Pamela to stop several times, resorted to jumping the jeep. Injured due to the jump of the moving vehicle, Annie began limping through the forest while Pamela chased her. After tripping through the woods, Annie fell to the ground and was cornered by Pamela, who leaned against a tree and cut her throat with a hunting knife.

Annie bleeds to death, Pamela puts her back in the jeep, squeezes her and keeps walking and acts like she's alive. Later in the evening, Alice Hardy, one of the camp's counselors is fleeing Pamela after she murdered her colleagues who were also counselors, discovers Annie's body in the passenger seat of Pamela's jeep.
