Anos Voldigoad (Japanese: アノス・ヴォルディゴード, Anosu Vorudigōdo) is the titular main protagonist of the 2018 Japanese fantasy light novel series The Misfit of Demon King Academy, and its manga and anime television series of the same name.
He is voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki (also voiced Ban in The Seven Deadly Sins) in Japanese and by Aleks Le (who also voiced Zenitsu Agatsuma in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Sung Jinwoo in Solo Leveling, Ja Wangnan Tower of God, Mash Burnedead in Mashle: Magic and Muscles, Shen Xiang in Undead Unluck, and Thorfinn in Vinland Saga) in English.

Anos resembles a pale-skinned human young man with black hair and red eyes with big black rings around the irises. His primary attire consists of his school's white uniform.
Biography[]
Voldigoad was the first and most powerful demon king who ruled the Infernal Realm two-thousand years ago and gave his life to ensure peace amongst the realms. In the present time, Voldigoad was reincarnated as a baby to an ordinary demon father and human mother. He enrolled in the Demon King Academy, an elite educational institute dedicated to the appointment of new demon lords.
As the reincarnation of the Demon King of Tyranny, this Voldigoad possessed nigh-insurmountable power that many attempted to challenge to no avail. Despite being a hybrid by birth, Anos excelled at school and amassed a following of hybrid students who realized he was the original demon king from millennia ago. His closest followers were the twin sisters Misha & Sasha Necron, the former of which became Voldigoad's first friend in his new life.
When Emilia targeted his mother and a group of half-demon girls that formed a fan group worshipping him, Anos prevented this attempted mass murder by blocking an attack intended to kill his mother, constricted Emilia in place, and healed the fan group members. Anos then proceeded to warp with Emilia to the arena he bested her brother him where he proceeded to torture the pure blood demon teacher and kill her before resurrecting her as a half-demon herself and cursed her to remain one no matter how much she died.
After Emilia was no longer a teacher for his school, Menō Historia stepped in to fill in the void left behind and proved herself to be more benevolent than her precursor. Anos also later becomes friends with Eleonore Bianca, a sentient being formed form magic.
