Anton is a supporting character in The Amazing World of Gumball. He is a crumbly, slightly burnt piece of toast with white gloves and purple shoes who was drafted into Tina's gang against his own will.
He is voiced by Anthony Hull.
Personality[]
Anton is extremely clumsy and somewhat incompetent, frequently getting himself killed or injured. He is somewhat cowardly and afraid due to his fragility. Anton was forced by Tina Rex into joining her gang of bullies along with Jamie, he can be a bully sometimes, he may despise the gang but he is afraid to leave because of Tina's intimidation. It is implies they are never friends in Season 1 and he became friends with Banana Joe and Idaho.
Despite this, he is friendly and amicable to his classmates, as he is greeting his classmates while his classmates are greeting him back. He even greeted Gumball and Darwin, but as he's running to class, he bumps into a clone named, Ant-Two, making him confused if Gumball and Darwin made more clones of him.

- Anton constantly dying then coming back to life is a reference to a character from South Park, Kenny McCormick
- Anton is shown injured sixteen times in the show, although Gumball and Darwin states that Anton has been injured fifty times in total.
- Anton can be revived or cloned by toasting a piece of bread at a specific configuration.
- Anton's memories do not transfer back after he died and revived back, so he has no idea if he died before.
- Anton is apparently a cannibal, as he is seen eating sandwiches, which is a bread just like him.
