Ao Hoshizaki is the main protagonist of Blue Reflection : Second Light. She is a ordinary girl who wants to be special. One day she receives a message on her phone and is transported to Oasis. There she meets Utsubo Kokoro, Miyauchi Rena, Kinjou Yuki. Together they would try to come back to their world.
She is voiced by Kanako Yanagihara.

Background[]
One day, in the real world, when Ao was walking in her way to school, she received a message on her phone saying "Be Reborn". She was then transported to Oasis, a world created by Yuzuki Shijou and Lime Shijou to protect reflectors from the Ash. There Ao meets three other girls, Utsubo Kokoro, Miyauchi Rena, Kinjou Yuki. With the help of ReSource, an AI created by Lime to help the reflector with their life at Oasis, Ao and the others lived there. One day a conversation between Ao and Kokoro caused the latter's heartscape to appear. As a result the girls would sometimes wander there in search for materials. Ao would also met Yuzuki Shijou, who lost her memories, many times, but the latter would dissapear soon after.
Blue Reflection : Second Light[]
Though their are advised by ReSource to not wanders too far in the Heartscape, the girls decide to do it anyway. On their ways, they come across many Fragment's memory from Kokoro who as a result recovers her memories. Once they come back to the school, after building a secret hideout, Kokoro remembers a memory with her friend Shino Kasuga, causing the latter to be summoned here. However, like Kokoro before here, she doesn't have her memories from before.
Ao and the others help Shino as well as the others reflectors summoned after her to recover their memories, while fighting the Anti-virus sent by the World System to kill them. They also discover that Oasis was created by Yuzu and Lime to save them from the Ash, a disease sent by the World System to detroy the world. After that, they help Yuzu to regains her memories and save Lime who sacrificed her power to maintain Oasis and protect it from the World System.
During a conversation with Lime and Yuzu, Ao learns that she didn't exist he the real world. Due to not having a Heartscape, Yuzu and Lime, with the others' help create one by extracting Ao's fragment. At first when visiting the Heartscape, everything seems normal, exepted when they see a mysterious structure in the sky that happens to be Origin. Uta feeling familiar with the structure without remembering it suggests to continue to investigate her Heartscape to help her to regain her memories.
After Uta explains that Origin is used to recreate the world with feelings, Ao comes with an idea that instead of preventing the Ash to fall on the world that they instead create a new one from everyone's memories. For that everyone send their feelings to Origin, however it fails because it's assumed that one or many of them are doubting if they want to leave or not. After adventuring in everyone's Heartscape and having each Reflectors face their emotions. The group then arrives to the deepest part of the Heartscape, but as Ao move fowards, she is faced by her fragment and understands that it was her emotions that prevented Origin to rebuilt the world. She then learns that she will live her life from before, never meet everyone and repeat the process of being sent in Oasis and saving the world. Though her fragment tries to convince her abandon her idea, Ao refuses,wanting everyone else to have their future.
After how comes back with the others, their are transported back to the school and face the World System. After the World System's defeat, everyone comes back to the new world.
In the true ending, depending of the girl Ao talked before leaving, Ao is seen behind the girl before the latter runs toward her.
