Aoi Todo is a supporting character in the manga/anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a third-year student at Jujutsu Kyoto High and a Grade-1 sorcerer. He's also a close friend to Yuji Itadori, whom he treats as his younger brother figure.
He is voiced by Subaru Kimura and Yūki Kazu as young in Japanese and Xander Mobus in English.
Appearance[]
Aoi Todo is a tall young man that stands about the same height as Satoru Gojo. He has a very defined, heavy muscular build and relatively tan skin. He has small black eyes and shoulder-length black hair that is almost always tied into a top-knot bun. One of his most notable features is the large scar running down the left side of Todo's face that he got from harsh training with Yuki.
Personality[]
Todo is an extremely eccentric individual who at first appears to be nothing more than a battle-crazed meathead to all his peers. He enjoys posing, showing off his muscles, and the thrill of battle. But all this hides an extremely cunning individual, who is able to formulate plans in an instant, and to use his outward look to throw people off.
Todo is supremely confident in himself and revels in heated combat even when the situation is extremely dangerous. He made light of his own achievements during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, revealing to Megumi he only needed his cursed technique to defeat a special grade curse. Despite undoubtedly possessing more cursed energy than Todo, Hanami was wary of him before they ever exchanged blows just based on his intense presence and supreme confidence. Todo's peers recognize that he's the most powerful out of all of them but they don't get along at all and everyone finds him irritating. In the baseball game, it was made abundantly clear that Todo is seriously hated by all the other students. Maki hit in him the face with the baseball and everyone other than Yuji praised her for the "nice pitch".
Abilities[]
Todo is fast enough to move from in front of Megumi to his back before he has a chance to react, and beat him and Itadori absolutely senseless in short order, with the latter thinking he had lost an arm blocking Todo's initial punch. He is also tough enough to keep going after having to sever his own hand right before Mahito gut-checks him with a Black Flash. Additionally, he's an incredibly intelligent fighter, analyzing opponents' moves at a near-instantaneous to exploit their weak points — or in Yuji's case, understand how to work past them to improve.
- Boogie Woogie: His cursed technique allows him to switch the positions of any two objects, usually people, imbued with Cursed Energy by clapping his hands. Following having his hand amputated by himself in his battle against Mahito during the Shibuya Incident, Todo finally came back after during the Shinjuku Showdown Arc to assist Yuji once again in his battle against Ryomen Sukuna with a Vibraslap equipped to his left hand, enhancing his technique further.

- When Aoi was about to unleash his black flash attack on Mahito in Episode 20 of the anime, it is a reference to All Might's One for All quirk from My Hero Academia.
