April O’Neil is a supporting character in the 2007 movie TMNT.
She was voiced by Sarah Michelle Gellar who portrayed Daphne Blake from two live-action Scooby-Doo films and Buffy Summers from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Personality[]
April is a good-natured woman who cares for her friends and intends to help them whenever they need it. Likewise, she can hold her ground against certain fights, hinting that she has outgrown her 'damsel in distress' role.
Biography[]
Early in the film, April works with Casey Jones in a shipping firm, forming a relationship. Later, she finds Leonardo in Central America, having been in the area seeking an artifact for Max Winters.
Eventually, April has taken up martial arts training from Splinter, purchasing a ninja uniform from Japan and becoming skilled in the use of katana, apparently outgrowing her part as a 'damsel in distress'. This is demonstrated as April and Karai fight it out while Casey, Splinter and the Turtles battle the Foot in order to save Leonardo.
