Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles[]

April O'Neil is a reporter on channel the 3 Eyewitness News station, as she reports on mysterious robberies spreading across Manhattan without any trace of the criminals insight. She believes this is caused by a mysterious gang of ninjas called the Foot, in spite of the disbelief of the chief of police: Sterns.

After almost being mugged by a couple of street gangs, she was saved in darkness by mysterious ninjas who gagged the gang and disappear without a trace. As the police arrive to apprehend the crooks, she noticed a sai right beside her, and takes it in unaware that she was being watched to the mysterious being who wields it.

The next morning, she berates Sterns for him and the police for not doing anything about the robberies taking place, but Stern doesn't take a liking to April's protest.

As she was about to take a subway back home, she was confronted by the Foot whom under the leadership of there master the Shredder, demands April to silence her reporting on them. After being outnumbered and unconscious, she was saved by one of the same warriors from the night before who came to retrieve his sai who happens to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle name Raphael.

After taking her unconscious body to his home in the sewers, she awakens with great fright of seeing him along with the other three Turtles: Leonardo, Michelangelo and Donetello, and their rat sensi: Splinter.

Splinter tells April the story about how the he and the Turtles were originally ordinary animals that were covered in a toxic waste of ooze that mutated them into the beings that they are, and Splinter trained them in the arts of Ninjistus which he learn from his late master Hamato Yoshi.

April decided to invite to the Turtles to her place to have frozen pizza which they immediately accept as pizza is their favorite food. As April was having a great time with them, they leave to return back to there home, but returned back to her place when they learn that their master is missing due to one of the Foot ninja who had followed Raphael and gave away their location to the Shredder.

The next morning, the Turtles hide as April gets a visit from her boss Charles Pennington who happened to just bail his son Danny out of jail, and gently ask April to break her Foot story, after he secretly made a deal with Sterns to let his son off the hook from stealing, but April continue to persist, which ended with Charles telling April to not push any buttons, but April would not listen and continues on with her duties, which infuriated Sterns.

While back home from work, April decided to show Leo, Donny and Mikey around her apartment store while Raph was up on the roof to left off some steam after having a huge fight with Leo, but were confronted by the Foot who knocked Raph unconscious, leading the Turtles to fight off the Foot while April nurtures Raph.

The fighting continued down to the basement, as more Foot members keep coming leaving them outnumbered, but the Turtles do get a helping from vigilante Casey Jones whom Raph had encountered a few nights ago and had also seen him being attacked by Foot in the roof.

The place soon catched fire which forces April, Casey and the Turtles to retreat to an old farmhouse where April use to live for recovery, not before April witness in horror of what has happen to her apartment. At the farmhouse, April attempt to find a phonebooth to call her boss, but after hearing what Charles said on April's answering machine, Casey informed April that she was fired due to her not living up to what her boss insisted. This lead to April and Casey not getting along at first, but would soon develop a mutual attraction to one another. April spend most of her time drawing on each of the Turtles, while narrating to herself on how being back at her own farmhouse still feels like home.

After the Turtles spend the night in a campfire after getting a mediation from Splinter, they informed April and Casey the next morning that it is time to return back to there home.

While back at the sewers, they noticed Danny who revealed that he ran away, and asked if he could spend the night. April gave Danny a drawing she did on Leonardo, which unbeknown to anyone is that Danny works for the Foot, where after sneakily coming to see Splinter who was abducted by the Foot, the Shredder took the drawing from his pocket and realized that the Turtles had returned and rallies the Foot to go after them with Shredder deciding to lead this time.

As the Foot return to the sewers, to finished the Turtles, the Turtles were able to fend off better than before with April helping by knocking one with a pipe.

After the defeat of the Shredder, and several of the Foot being apprehended by the police, April was rehired by Eyewitness News, and shares a mutual kiss with Casey Jones.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze[]

After for sometime with the Shredder's defeat, April was able to find a new apartment and invited the Turtles and Splinter to stay due to the remaining Foot Clan knowing their whereabouts, but are still hoping to find a new place to live. One morning when April was doing a report on Techno Global Research Industries (T.G.R.I.), Splinter revealed to them that it was made both he and the Turtles to who they are, but after a failed attempt to figuring out any information due to a confrontation with the Foot which resulted in the Foot taking the last canister of T.G.R.I. and the professor: Jordan Perry along with him, the Turtles and Splinter decided that it is best to leave for April's safety, but get an unexpected visit from April's local pizza delivery boy name Keno who had been suspicious of April's eating habit, which led to his eventual encounter with the Turtles and Splinter.

Keno revealed that the Foot are inviting new rookies to be apart of their clan, and both he and Raph figure with his professional Martial Art skills, he could attend as undercover, but Splinter forbid it much to their dismay. April drops the Turtles off, and was later scene one afternoon upon getting a distress called from Keno that Raphael has been abducted due to them going behind's Splinter's back. The other Turtles were able to save Raphael and Perry as well as learning that the Shredder is alive, and has force the professor to create new mutants to go against the Turtles in an alligator snapping turtle and grey wolf name Tokka and Rahzar.

While at work, April was abducted by her camera operator Freddy who was revealed to be working for the Foot, and explains to April in that Tokka and Rahzar would wreak havoc in town unless the Turtles show themselves. April was to be very concern about all this, but Perry revealed that he has an antidote.

After the Turtles and Perry have returned Tokka and Rahzar into their normal selves, and the Shredder was once again, April reported on the News to congratulate them, much to Splinter's dismay, for his son's to reveal themselves in public.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III[]

April headed down to the Turtles' new home, to give them and Splinter all a gift from the fleat market, as she was about to leave for her vacation. She gives Michelangelo an old lamp, Donatello a radio, Leonardo a book on swords, Raphael a fedora hat and Splinter an ancient Japanese scepter, which just so happens to light up and causes wind to blow as April is being sent back in time with a young warrior by the name Kenshin in her place as they both wear each other's clothes.

In the past, April was accused by Kenshin's father Lord Norinaga, English trader Walker, and the honor guards for kidnapping his son, as Norinaga depicts her to be a witch, but Walker could see right through her, and have her locked up, where she meets a man who resembles Casey named Whit.

After using the scepter to retrieve April, only have one of the them to be separated from the pack, three of the Turtles: Leo, Don, and Raph in the disguise as Honer Guards (due to the Honor Guards being in their place in the present time) come to free April and Whit while Mikey is held captive by the villagers, who rebel against Norinaga and his forces. The Turtles, April and Whit were confronted by said villagers who believes them to be the Honor Guards, but once their leader Mitsu unmasked Raph, and clams to that he and the others Turtles look like their prisoner, they all know she was talking about Mikey.

Upon arriving to the village, they noticed it to be in parole by Walker and his crew. After they save everyone along with Mikey escaping and save Mitsu's younger brother, Yoshi and Leo performing CPR to revive him, they have earn the villagers' respect.

Not knowing where the scepter is, Donatello came up with an idea to create a makeshift one, in which April thinks is illogical and begins to give up all hope. Meanwhile, April forms a bond with Whit who wants to join her, but thinks he wouldn't fit in. Later that night, with the help of a handyman, they were able to get one made, but after a fight of tug of war with it between Raph and Mikey, it was destroyed; however, they soon discovered through Yoshi that the real one was hidden by his Mitsu's grandfather: the Village Elder who wants to keep the Turtles around to help save their village against Norinaga.

It is soon reveal that Whit is one of Walker's spies, as he abducts Mitsu and takes the scepter with him. April confronts Whit about this, but was soon used as Walker's hostage in order for the Turtles to surrender. When Walker demands Whit to shoot them, Whit had a change of heart as he never wanted to harm anyone, which causes him to join them. The Turtles were able to dodge Walker's cannon which cause a chase to ensure as the Turtles followed Walker to the roof, until he showed them the scepter and tossed it away until Mikey caught it as a Whit used a throwing a fireball that caused Walker to fall off the dock to his death.

As they finally retrieve the scepter, both Mikey and Raph wanted to stay, in which April, Leo and Donny debate against that. The scepter lights up, as Kenshin and the Honor Guards were ready to go back to their time. April and the Turtles were able to return except for Mikey, due to him giving Mitsu (who he seem to have feelings for) one of his nunchucks as a sort of souvenir. Back in the present, April and the other three Turtles witness the Honor Guard in Mikey's place, and upon shock he leaves with the scepter as the Turtles and April failed to catch, but Mikey was able to return in his place.

April was last scene where she and Casey were laughing at Splinter's Elvis impression when trying to cheer up Mikey.
