Aquaryah Aquavilla, also simply known as Aquaryah, is the central protagonist in the 2022 computer-animated Barbie film Barbie: Mermaid Power. She is an orphaned mermaid child who lives in the underwater kingdom of Pacifica. She is also a younger sister of the merman Finn and Pacifica's latest Power Keeper.

She was voiced by Madelyn Kratzer.

Biography[]

After her father's death, Aquaryah serving as one of the watchers present at first upon she observed of her brother Finn's selected by the Golden Pearl and via time having finished from the games with defined the next Power Keeper in Pacifica. She also meet Brooklyn and the Roberts sisters, who were arrives in their kingdom though she followed them, Finn, and the two mermaids Sareena and Talleigha into the castle to opens an ritual. Especially to be exhilarate, Aquaryah wishing to unlocked her own powers someday but Talleigha always hatred her ideas.

However, Talleigha claimed that she was too young to keep up with the "big fish" so what she briefly rudeness to Aquaryah. Finn agreed with Talleigha and they must heading to inside, but in spite of listened to the mermaid's mischief words, Aquaryah keeps her optimism and become a friends of Barbie and her sisters. She thinks that Barbie and Brooklyn are have awakening their strengths with difficult. Proving of her guided, Brooklyn slowly to launched the Fire powers while Finn confronted his younger sister to learned about interrelated with outlanders.

Aquaryah then debated that she was allowing to deal with herself and the merman's posture towards strangers thus far had makes Skipper becoming annoyed to have grow. Those many people had watched, she highly up to awaken Air powers and congratulation of her discovered by Aquaryah. During a Power-Off challenge summoned by the mermaids, Aquaryah seen on Brooklyn and Talleigha completely to awakened Fire powers. And but Stacie, who awakened Earth powers to save her sister from being dragged into the lethal whirlpool.

She should went to against Talleigha's fringe strategies in the Power-Off and snapping at Finn when he trying to coming for her protection. Later in this happened, Aquaryah escaped to a serene area on a kelp forest the fact she training all the night into the next day with strengths she would begins to expansion. Upon her founding by Chelsea and Viva the vaquita, Aquaryah was shocked to thought that Chelsea is understands to Viva's language and becoming a water mermaid after awekening her water powers. Preparation returned to the kingdom, they are lost but eventually to captured and imprisoned by Marlo and her assistant Oslo.

While their trapped in a tank, Aquaryah talk to Chelsea and she had an ideas for her to persuade a couple of anglerfish imprisoned with them to help them fleeing, in switch for gets them back into the ocean. The girls later encountering with Malibu and Marlo (who is now turning into a mermaid by Barbie's mermaid necklace) near an island of trash where a various merfolk are present and tried to clean up. The merpeople explained that the Power Keeper can help clearing all of garbage at once and Malibu explains that the Power Keeper is already there, revealed her to be Aquaryah herself.

By commenting that mostly of her characteristical made her the best candidate. After listening to encouraged the words, Aquaryah success to unlocked her abilities as a Power Keeper and become the most strongest of all the merfolks. The other merpeople were passaging their energies into Aquaryah, she using her newfound power to destroyed the island of garbage. Finn apologized to his sister for being overprotective of her while he looks on her new strength, they join with all the merpeople at Mermaid Rock in the celebration under the Mermaid Moon, much to their honors.
