Ara is the main female protagonist of the Star Wars Visions episode "Journey to the Dark Head".
Appearance[]
Ara has pale skin, brown eyes, facial markings, and long black hair. When at her least dressed, she dones a pair of brown gloves, a black tank top, light brown pants, and a pair of pilot boots. When geared up, she bundles her hair inside a pilot helmet and wears an orange jacket in addition to said attire.
Biography[]
As Ara was preparing herself as an old man instructed, she noticed something with one of the rocks during the rain storm and picks it up to see a clash between a pair of nameless figures with a third in the middle, which she takes as a message of a future event before the image fades out. She exclaims to her elder that a war is going on and waste will be laid to the galaxy and the message needs to be shared with the Jedi along with much else from the place she found the image. Her elder explains that war and conflict are a constant thing built on the sands of time tat ebbs and flows for eternity with a record serving as a remains on the stones to be read and kept. Ara beleives this can be stopped by severing the dark head. Later on, during a meeting with a Jedi council, Ara explains how she was raised within a hidden temple on a planet far in the Outer Rim, Dolgarak. She explains to them that there are two massive statues that for centuries were covered by the clouds. One being representive of light and the other dark. The rocks were rained on by the clouds whenver it happens, spreading it across them to show propechies before evaporating backforth to the clouds. By going to the place where the dark head is to destroy it, it could improve their odds for the war. She knows how risky it is and is prepared to do so as she requests for a mission to be made there. One of the elder Jedi does not find her idea outrageous and has a Jedi, Toul, accompany her for the mission. Soon, Toul meets her while she had been preparing for the mission and asks him to hurry onboard as there is a war. She soon visits a shop twith Toul as she is procuring a bomb and a parachute before heading to Dolgarak. As she travels there, she gets concerned about him when she sees an uneasy expression before a ship shoots one of the wings, sending it plummeting as she tries to retake control while dodging the attacks from the assailant who reveals himself to be Bichan who murdered Toul's friends. Toul fights with his foe as he helps Ara over to where the temple is. Soon Toul and Bichan continue their fight on the temple as Ara tries to destroy the dark head only to get distracted by the fight. Soon when Bichan is winning against Toul, Ara realizes they are the figures from the rock and uses the bombs to distract Bichan long enough to ensure Toul emerges victorious against him. After Toul kills the murderer of his friends, he starts to fall only for Ara to jump after him and use the parachute one she catches him. She then comes to realize that the mission had been a waste of time and effort with Toul acknowledging the light and dark will always co-exist, but does hope for better things to come. As Ara declares themselves a new team, Toul tells her they need another ship since the one they had for the mission crashed.
