| “ | And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. | „ |

Michael, also known as Saint Michael the Archangel, Archangel Michael and Saint Michael the Taxiarch is a major figure in Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam).
He is an high-ranking archangel who, in the stories, is the commander of The Armies of Heaven as well as the leader of the Seven Main Archangels first created by God where he serves as his knight. In modern times he is viewed as he most powerful among the other Archangels, he is the archenemy of Satan being responsible for battling him when he first started his revolt against God and defeating him.
Appearance[]
In most artistic and religious traditions, Michael is often depicted as a powerful, armored warrior, wielding a sword and often depicted standing over a dragon or serpent. Like all the other angels, Michael is often portrayed with large, prominent wings, sometimes described as white or iridescent
Biography[]
Michael was created at the same time as God began creating reality, he was made alongside his sibling such as Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, and Azrael. Though it was at this time he was created with a twin brother named Lucifer, who was equal to him in power. Together with his sibling, Michael helped God lay the foundations to all creation as he set a glorious plain of existence that would be known as Heaven for them and all their creations to live in, a place where he was made the protector & leader of its guardians.
However, this all changes when it became apparent that Lucifer had a colossal pride burning inside him, and believed his talents meant he was destined to become an even more powerful figure than God himself, which soon got out of hand when he decided to take over Heaven by force, manipulating a 3rd of the angels to make a point & army to ensure his victory. When he was confronted by this and determined to not let this happen, Michael valiantly led the armies of those who still supported God against Lucifer and the revolters and they all engaged in a ferocious battle that shook the foundations, with him & Lucifer (having transformed into a dragon) going head-to-head, despite being equal in power, Michael was aided by his father and successfully put his revolting brother down.
After defeating the rebellion, Michael was then ordered by God to cast down all the evil angels out of heaven and into a new, dark plane of existence that would be known as Hell, but watched with disappointment as God took away Lucifer's beautiful looks & would now regularly call him Satan before seeing him "fall like lightning" from heaven as well. Right afterwards, Michael would then continue to support his creator's peaceful ways as he would continue to serve as Heaven's protector and would be a part of protecting his newest creation in the form of humanity, but would also be in a still continuous battle with Satan, who still remained determined to become the new master of all creation now matter what.
