Arima Kousei is the main protagonist of the 2011 manga Your Lie in April and its 2014 anime adaptation. He is a prodigy pianist and the son of Saki Arima and Takahiko Arima, that attent at student at Sumiya Junior High. Famously known as the dominator and the younguest winner of the Maihou Piano Competition.
Arima is voiced by Natsuki Hanae in japanese where he is famous for voicing Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer, Falco Grice from Attack on Titan, Beam from Chainsaw Man, Ikki Niko from Blue Lock, Yuuki Kagurazaka from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Haise Sasaki from Tokyo Ghoul and Taichi Yagami from Digimon.
Appearance[]
Arima is a short heighted black haired teenage boy with black glasses, just slightier taller than Kaori Miyazono. In his school attire, he wears a grey pant and coat with a badge of his school to it. Along with a light blue shirt with a red and white tie.
When competing at piano competitions he wears a blue suit and tie. His casual cloth is a blue and black raglan shirt with “NO LIFE IS ENOUGH ” written on it.
Personality[]
As a younger child Kousei was a calm and respectful boy who would spend most of his days alone in his thoughts making unaware of others think of him, especially the other pianist's rivalry and jealousy at the Maihou competitions, that Tsubaki had feelings for him, Tsubaki's jealousy of him being separated from him since she always cared about Arima and was always with him. He also stares Kaori for long thinking how amazing of a person she is, which causing her to think that he is having perverted thoughts on her.
