Arnold Rivers is the major character in analog horror The Greylock Tapes.

Arnold is a young man with short black hair, wears glasses, a white shirt, and a black sweater.
Biography[]
On March 24th, 1987, Arnold was hired by the Morelli Construction & Mining Company to record notes of what Paul's crew would find in Mount Greylock. Arnold came across a series of tunnels that contained ancient markings and artifacts.
The next day, the tunnel had been cleared by Paul and his crew, according to Arnold, and Paul asked Arnold to record notes of what he might recognize in the tunnels and report the findings to Frank Porter, the director of the Greylock Project. He noted that the artifacts were pre-colonial, which included Native American, Mesoamerican, Clovis, and other foreign cultures.
Fearing for his life and hearing what was happening to the crew, Arnold decided to leave the project.
On March 28th, Arnold was called by Porter, who disregarded Arnold's concerns and insisted that he return to the project with the offer of a substantial raise, but Arnold refused again. However, Porter wished Arnold luck before hanging up on him. Arnold then heard rumors about the strange activity around Mount Greylock, which included home invasions, bodies falling from the sky over Cheshire, and phenomena involving pregnant women.
Arnold then made contact with a private investigator named Jim Melgren, who was also investigating the occurrences around the mountain.
On April 8th, Arnold made an audio recording of his experience at Mount Greylock and fears that he was being followed after leaving the Greylock Project. However, Arnold heard a noise coming from the basement and grabbed his camcorder before hiding in the closet. He was then brutally killed by a thoughtform.
