Artemis is a major character in roguelike video game Hades by Supergiant and it's sequel Hades II.
She is the Olympian Goddess of the Hunt, the twin sister of Apollo and a daughter of Zeus. She is also the cousin of the game's protagonist Zagreus, who she helps escape the Underworld.
In the second game she helps her other cousin Melinoë, defeat their evil grandfather Chronos. She is voiced by Jamie Landrum.

Past[]
Artemis was born to Zeus, King of the gods and Leto a Titaness, along with her twin brother Apollo, the god of light. While her brother would soon become her father's favorite son, she would appear to have a more distant relationship with her father and her other family members. While an Olympian, she would spend most of her time in the woods with her nymphs rather than on the mountain and would refuse possible suitors much to her father's dismay.
Hades I[]
Artemis would be one of the first to discover her uncle Hades, would have sired a son named Zagreus. Wanting to help her younger cousin she offered him boons in order to escape the Underworld. In the end of the game, Zagreus along with Hades and Persephone, would call Artemis and the other Olympians to their house. Happy with seeing her uncle Hades and the great hero Achilles, Artemis is satisfied and forgives Zagreus for tricking her.
Hades II[]
Artemis appears again, this time helping her other cousin Melinoë defeat Chronos. After Melinoë brings the surrendered Chronos to Zeus for interrogation Artemis along with Apollo join Melinoë on Selene's chariot.
Personality[]
Artemis is an extremely independent goddess that prefers to keep to herself and usually stays away from the other gods. She has a soft spot for her cousins, Zagreus and Melinoë and respects her uncle Hades and the fallen hero Achilles. She seems to have a little rivalry going on with her brother Apollo and has a complicated relationship with her father Zeus both of whom seem to be very arrogant.
