Arthur is a supporting character in the AMC Series Into the Badlands.

He is a Bowler Clipper that serves the Widow in the war against Baron Chau. Posted at a travel checkpoint known as "Sniper Ally" where he saw a multitude of his allies die, he eventually gets put in charge of the entire unit due to all of his superiors being killed in battle. The lack of help from the Widow eventually drives him to abandon her cause and perform a coup for her territory with fellow Clipper Wren.

He was portrayed by George Sear.

Personality[]

When Sunny first encounters Arthur, he appears to be a level-headed individual, not willing to risk trying to go through Spiner Ally knowing that they will likely die. After Sunny lies that he is the new Regent, Arthur if fully willing to follow his orders, as Sunny is clearly a capable leader. However, once Sunny leaves and no further help is sent to the unit, Arthur becomes bitter and resentful of the Widow, with him and fellow Clipper Wren deciding to form a coup in order to overthrow the Widow, and force an armistice with Chau in order to end the war. His ruthlessness is also seen when he kills the Sniper despite Sunny claiming that the Sniper is a prisoner of war and should not be harmed, as Arthur wanted payback for the deaths of his fellow Clippers.

Powers & Abilities[]

Martial Arts/Swordsmanship: Arthur was highly proficient in combat, to the point that he was chosen to be the leader of his unit after all of the experienced Clippers were killed by the Sniper.
Archery: Arthur was capable with a crossbow, able to effectively hold his own against the Sniper posted in Sniper Ally and taking down multiple Clippers during the coup of the Widow's mansion.
